Best one we've visited. Started at the visitor car park. Too us a bit over a hour to reach the falls viewing platform. Trail is well made with a view more difficult stretches. Main thing to note is that when you reach pathway junction with...More

This 45 minute hike surprised me. We aren't in bad shape (we take body pump and high-intensity interval training classes 4 days a week) and this took us about an hour and a half to hike each way with a couple 5 minute stops. The...More

We did this hike about two days after doing the Boiling Lake hike, so compared to that it wasn't near as challenging. However, there is quite a bit of uphill, but I felt that was to be expected in Dominica. Trail is very well marked...More

The trail head is a mile plus off the road- well marked- and though some park on the road, it doubles the hike unnecessarily. You walk through a well maintained trail system to a viewing platform close enough to get sprayed during rainy periods.

The hike to these falls is not that hard, except maybe for the first 15 minutes, climbing uphill (steep parts are mostly arranged with staircases). And the falls themselves are very beautiful. It is possible to swim in the splash pool.

My wife and I are split on this experience. I loved the falls and the splash pool. My wife hated the mostly uphill hike in (lots of stairs, she has some mild asthma). Overall the falls are very impressive and the pool is cool and...More

The Falls are fantastic and I am happy to have done the hike, but this is not a trail for wimps. It was slick and muddy with plenty of leaves, mossy rocks and tree roots to trip you up. Some parts are steep and you...More

It was totally worth it getting wet, moderate hiking, around 50 min to 1 hr with raining weather, some areas you get wet walking thru river areas and at the end the view, sound, and everything of the Middleham waterfall make it worth it. You...More
