Being English I can only compare the freshwater lake to one of the water reservoirs found dotted around England. There is nothing to do at the venue except look at the water. The only thing going for it is the fact that it is high...More

We went to this place as part of a four hour scenic tour. It sits at about 2500 feet or so. As a result the temperatures are noticeably cooler than along the coast. It’s the largest freshwater lake in Dominica. We didn’t spend much time...More

This place is absolutely beautiful. We went out in the late afternoon, it was chilly, nonetheless we went kayaking and the fog was just coming in, making it a thrilling adventure.

Unfortunately the weather was pretty rotten on the day we came here which made the path quite treacherous. Although it’s a relatively short hike, it’s along a caldera so expect steep climbs and drops! The sun broke through the fog a couple of times and...More

One of my favourite places to go. It's very quiet and your mind will be at peace. You can take a canoe around the lake or traverse on a mini trail to view around the lake and its flora and fauna.

Steep climb up and around the lake, but the view is awesome. It's a 30 min walk from the laudat junction, and another 50 mins to walk around the lake.

We drove here in a hire car on a day trip. The road was in good condition and there is plenty of parking. We walked the lake circuit which WA San excellent walk. It is not flat and essentially an undulating caldera walk, steep at...More

Freshwater lake is OK but relatively ordinary. You can though take short drive from lake to start of trail to Beori Lake. It's a fairly challenging path, especially as we did it after a night of rain so very slippery in places. Took about an...More

This is a beautiful spot to cool off. It's much cooler up by the lake. Breathtaking views, beautiful hikes, kayaking and bar open during peak times
