They have so many variety of tree/plant species, it is really mesmerizing to see first hand. They also have a hot and cold water spring with a waterfall to relax once you have toured the garden. A must when in Dominica.

We ate lunch at Papillote Tropical Gardens after going to Trafalgar Falls. It was an excellent choice. I had Mahi Mahi and my wife had a Marlin fish wrap. Both were prepared to perfection. The Dasheen puffs and plantain were also just perfect. We also had a pineapple and mango smoothie apiece that immediately quenched the thirst acquired in hiking... More

Enjoy your meal while looking out over the tropical garden. After eating you can take a stroll through the gardens and stop for a dip in the hot pool.

My husband and I arrived late 5:30 and asked to use the soak tubs. We were happy that we made the 6pm cur off time as there are no lights. We had the pools to ourselves, one hot and one cold with water coming directly from a gorgeous waterfall. Afterwards we dried off and had dinner in their restaurant. Sublime... More

We had a good lunch over looking a wondeful garden. A gentle stroll around stopping at the various benches, admiring the hummingbirds and the flowers, before lying in the natural pools admiring the waterfall. A perfect anecdote to a busy or strenuous day.

Well worth the stop if on your way to or from Trafalgar Falls. If in Roseau when a cruise is in port, you will find jungle and waterfalls to yourself.

Was the ideal venue for a destination wedding, beautiful waterfall backdrop and such a variety of flora to see... Word of caution to those who get motion or car sickness: remember to travel with your motion sickness pills because this place is worth seeing!

We actually stayed in Papilotte in one of the rainforest rooms, we even had our own hot spring pool under our villa. As a bird watcher, it was fabulous for me. Hummingbirds flit in and out all day.. Watch out for the Purple Throated Carib. We walked around the gardens several times as we stayed three nights. I find the... More
