A 10 minute drive from Trafalgar Falls is Ti Kwen Glo Cho. (Warning: Do not use any GPS to get here, get directions or you will get badly lost like we did) The place is spread out with two different temperature pools and a mud bath. The thermal pool I found just too hot to stay more than a few minutes. Near it is a mud pool where tear some mud off the side to rub on your skin. It can be washed off from any of the natural showers or from the old fashion metal bathtub that has a warm water spout pouring over you. The lower pool is comfortably warm as they mix up the heated underground waters with waters from the mountain creek.

When we asked about hot springs, every local person we asked recommended this place over the others. Maybe because it one of the originals?
There’s a $10 entry fee. We went at night and there were only a couple of other people there. I don’t know that it would have been comfortable if there were more than just a few parties of people. We were shown the stairs down to the springs but didn’t get any info about how many pools there are. Since it was dark, we had to just hunt around with our flashlights. It seemed there were two pools and the claw foot tub in between them.
There are also animals in pens, which I found disturbing. There were at least 30 Guinea pigs piled up. But if you want to see an Agouti, you can see one there.

What a beautiful place! Hot and warm sulphur pools, a mud bath pool, several cold waterfalls you could stand under, and a soaking tub all set in a lovely garden. The owner’s grandson gave us a lovely tour and then we were off to soak. Had the place to ourselves. Had lunch there and were treated to calalou and fish as Independence Day and Creole festival were occurring. Was a relaxing, glorious day!

This has become our favourite sulphur spa since Hurricane Maria wrought such havoc. A soak in the hot pool followed by a cold shower of river water was very therapeutic. There is also a second ,not quite as hot, natural pool for wallowing in. Henry and June and their family are lovely people and made us very welcome. They have replanted the gardens which are already looking very pretty. They have a bar full of flavoured bush rums. There is a small zoo (tortoises and agouti ) . We arrived at 5pm and had the spa to ourselves. We left with glowing skin, feeling very relaxed. Entry fee was 10EC$ each and you can stay as long as you like. Highly recommended.

One of the most memorable days of my trip on Dominica was a rainy day spent at Ti Kwen Glo Cho. It's less developed and more rustic that the other spas in Wotten Waven but that made it more appealing for me (and it was by far the cheapest - a great deal for a budget traveller)! Set on the most idyllic piece of land up above town with two rivers (hot and cold) flowing in, this was the perfect spa. It was not crowded and the grounds were well kept.

The bathtubs were the highlight where you have hot water from the spring being diverted through bamboo pipes to pour over you in an old fashion bath tub.

We wrapped up the day having some bush rum (dozens of varieties to choose from) and fried chicken with the lovely family who runs the spa. I would go back in a heart beat!

I am so glad we discovered these beautiful hot springs in Wotten Waven - they were a wonderful experience even on a rainy day. We used to enjoy going to Screw's Spa, but this was washed away by Hurricane Maria. Ti Kwen Glo Cho has good hot basins in a natural valley. We changed into swim wear in the washrooms. There were no apparent sulfurous smells. The surrounding gardens and trails are recovering beautifully with considerable work by the owners. Perfect place for a small group of friends.

Don't let the (very) humble entrance fool you, there are quite a few pools here and it's all set into a lush garden setting. I suspect there were pools we didn't see because each pool was set into a niche off a path and we got a little lost once or twice.
This was a really serene experience. We especially loved when it rained, since the cool raindrops were lovely contrast to the hot water.
Just wear a dark bathing suit or one you don't mind changing colors a bit in the reddish mud/mineral deposits.

In the year since we last visited, the property has greened and bloomed again. There are multiple pools, the first is really hot and did wonders to loosen up my injured shoulder. There are several cold river water showers to cool down again. The garden is a delight, the little green valley with its hidden waterfall is a magical place. The owners are lovely people and are working hard to bring the spa back to its best post Maria. The entry fee has gone up to EC$26 but you can stay as long as you like. We loved our time there.

We wanted to visit hot springs on our visit. Our guide for the boiling lake recommended Ti Kwen Glo Cho Hot Springs.

We visited after doing the Boiling Lake Trail one day, followed by canyoneering the following day. Needless to say we were a bit sore.

Admission was $10 US, which was higher than I expected. It was well worth it. There was a pool that was very hot (I could stay in for 5 minutes); there was also a pool that was a nice warm temperature that you could soak in indefinitely. Try both for sure; the really hot one felt good on the muscles. They also have cool water 'showers' that you can use to cool off. There are also 2-3 'hot tubs' which are bath tubs that you can soak in.

As previous posters mentioned, it is very secluded and set in a valley with views of a waterfall, foliage, and birds. It was not very busy, and the soaking baths were very large. When we were there, there were 3-4 couples using it, and it was not crowded at all.

Well worth it, especially if you have sore muscles from to many activities. They have changing rooms, bathrooms, and a bar. They also have a pen of land tortoises. I was told they used to be all over the island, and that now this is one of the largest collections on the island.
