Castle Comfort is our favorite place to go on the island. We stayed there 11 years ago when we were buying our house. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We frequently eat the Sunday barbeque, it is delicious. Curt, Roslyn and the other staff are attentive and friendly.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay special: the office staff, the servers, Lindell at the bar, and all of the dive masters. The diving was excellent: 82 degree water, 50' visibility, incredible sponges, diverse marine life. Some of the larger fish had been caught by the local fishermen but, overall, they seem to value and... More

Enjoyed my stay very much. The diving was good along with the dive masters . Lindell the bartender was always attentive and made sure we had what we needed along with food and drink. Melinda at the front desk was very helpful with tours and other reservations.

We have rarely felt so comfortable or welcome anywhere. The staff here are genuinely interested in the comfort and well being of the guests. Of course, that's their job, but every employee we met - the dive master, chef, bartender, front dest - made our stay personal. We genuinely felt welcome. I don't have a vast range of experience diving... More

Had the worst experience Took my family to dinner and after 1 hours not even garlic bread that graced our table. After 2 hours and 15 minutes we had to leave with no food and the children restless and hungry. It was excuses after excuses. No more mashed potato, no more bread, no more lobster. Not even an apology from... More

Not on the main-stream tourist trip - what attracted us! The diving was much better than anticipated! We liked it better, and saw more great things, than we did in Bonaire! The dive-shop folks at "Castle Comfort" (Dive Dominica) were awesome, the boats and crew fabulous! - and the shore-line (the beaches ARE far and few inbetween) bar & restaurant... More

Went with dive group in December 2013 for a week. Accommodations were adequate, nothing fancy. We had room over the dive shop which at times was noisy but that was OK. Restaurant staff was great, a little slow, but that's island time! Easy to get to town by using local bus/van service...just tell driver you need to return to Dive... More

We stayed here for 4 days and dove every day! Great food friendly staff, clean rooms, good diving, down side is that you will dive with a big group.

The diving was real good but could have been better if they didn't try to herd the divers around in a group. More independent diving or even a split into two groups would be better. The food was very good and seemed to be a good price for the location. The rooms were OK but do need attention. The floors... More

4 stars because I think the rooms could use a little updating. But that is totally outweighed by the outgoing and accommodating staff. Everyone is very friendly and willing to cater to your every need, from a packed lunch for an excursion to making a to go breakfast for us when we had a 5am airport pick up. The diving... More
