About
We are a family owned and operated business that started charters in 2006. We offer open fishing trips for just 140 usd pp on Tuesdays and Fridays. We also offer half and full day deep seaq fishing charters on all other days. We have two boats one 35 ft Bruno Stillman Sport fish which can take upto 10 guests and a high end 42 ft Viking sport fish yacht for up to 15 guests. We suggest smaller groups for fishing. Our boats are the cleanest on the island and all have full size washrooms and are air conditioned. The boats are also available for beach hopping, snorkeling or Klein Curacao charters. All our trips are all inclusive and kids are welcome on all our trips.

We had an amazing time with Niels and his crew! Our experience was their main concern. We had a large group of 8. A couple of folks got sea sick but most of us were fine. Important to note that this was most people’s first deep sea fishing experience, including my own. When we arrived in the morning we were greeted by Niels, briefed about the trip, and loaded into the boat. We had a nice ride out of the bay. Once we hit the open water I believe lines were dropped to start fishing. I didn’t know exactly when the crew did that. We were sitting on the second deck of the boat so couldn’t see what the crew was doing. When a fish was on one of the lines the crew would call for one of us to reel it in. That was a great experience. Later into the trip a couple of us moved to the lower deck. That’s where the fun really was for us. We got to watch the entire process from the excellent crew. I’d recommend a full 8 hour trip for those used to the water and want to have a full fishing experience with some really good guides. I think many people would also enjoy one of the shorter excursions. Either way you go Niels and his crew will take care of you and accommodate your needs and desires.

Great time on the water

Thank you Neils and Nestor for two great mornings of fishing. My son had a big Tuna on the hook but couldn't reel it in. He will forever tell the story of the one that got away! Great experience and we will definitely be back.

Best activity on Curacao
We booked the "Reel Drag", for a fishing trip and a trip to Klein Curacao. Captain Niels Jorissen and Crew promised that we would be able to snorkel with Seaturtles. The Crew where exceptionel professional and really paid attention to the wellbeing of their passengers (wife wasn't to happy about the High Sea ). As promised we snorkled with Seaturtles, which was a highlight and as a bonus (based on the crews experience and hardwork) we did catch a 24 lp Wahoo, 2 small Tunas and a 8 lp Mahi mahi. So Hugh thanks for a perfect day.

Went fishing while in Curacao. Cost was $140 US pp. There were five people fishing with four active lines. Crew of two. Crew were very friendly. We caught several tuna but no other fish. Boat was really too small for 5 persons. Should have gone with 4 persons or less. One crew hand seemed quite new and had difficulty with the lines and was very slow to get lines in the water in most cases. Lots of fishing time was wasted.
Overall I had a good time but would not go again unless I knew there were four or fewer persons on the boat.

Good experience. Caught some mahi-mahi but would like to have kept one.

Went out with 6 people in late September. Caught a couple mahi-mahi right off then things settled down. By the time we were done we had 5 mahi-mahi and one small barracuda in the ice cooler. We would have like to have kept one of the mahi-mahi (or even a piece of one) to take back to the restaurant at our hotel for a fresh fish dinner but we were told the crew keeps the fish and that is why the cost is low. The website said “the crew will clean and bag it for you free of charge” but that was not the case. The mate put 5 lines in the water and was very skilled at keeping them untangled. The reels were a little hard to handle. Reeling in a little 12 inch fish proved to be hard. It could have been me but I have gone deep sea fishing before and didn’t have that issue. At the end of the trip I had 2 mahi-mahi on my line at the same time. That was VERY hard to reel in as I was only able to get two reel cranks as I dropped the rod tip. The first mate was there to help as he grabbed the fishing line with his hands and pulled while I reeled. The boat was clean the captain did a great job of handling the large swells. If I am ever in Curacao again I will definitely consider Plan B again but I will verify ahead of time about keeping the fish.

Klein curaçao (private charter, non-fishing)

We took the Bar 42 boat with Ronald and Kenny to Klein Curacao. Just my wife and I for the day. It was absolutely perfect. The two guides were incredible, including catching us a fish lunch and grilling it right there on the boat (along with other foods too!) Everything was delicious. We swam with sea turtles off the boat, walked the beach, and had some drinks. Couldn’t more highly recommend. Ask for Ronald and Kenny. They made it awesome.

Productive 6 hour trip

Had a great day of fishing with Captain Niels and mate Ronald. Clean boat, excellent tackle, hooks pre baited and ready to go. Lines in early as we headed to Klein Curaçao. First strike was a pair of Black-fin Tuna. Next was a Wahoo caught on the “Rosario”. Too big to completely fit inside the cooler. Last hookup was a big Blue Marlin. After a 40 minute battle, the fish went down deep and likely sideways and broke the line. Would have loved to tag and release, maybe next time?
Niels and Ronald were on the same page with each other which is important when fighting such a fish. They were both very knowledgeable with regards to fishing and as well as Curaçao in general. Great conversation, several restaurant tips and snorkeling spots as well.

Great experience with Yacht Charter Curacao!

The captain, the crew and ofcourse the boat of Yacht charter Curacao is absolute amazing!

Last june i went on a day trip with this amazing charter and i had the best experience ever!!

Niels, the captain of Yacht Charter Curacao told me a lot about Curacao, the sea and the boat itself. It was a real pleasure and also very comfortable!! :)

i would recommend everyone to go on a trip with this charter, because i can secure you they serve you perfectly and your experience will be unforgettable.

Thank you very much for the great experience✌️✌️and see you guys hopefully a next time!

Like i said before.... Awesome!! We cought a lot of fish, loads of tuna and one big wahoo. thanks to the crew, also as a result of the review before where i really disagree, Neils realy made our day... Beside the awesome fishing trip, with the good catch, he gave us also all the advice; Where to go, where not to go on the island, where to eat, swim, dance or relax.... And also al the other day trips... So, it is the perfect service!
So we absolutely recommend fish charter curacao, with neils!!

Great time

We booked 3 half days with Niels and his crew on Reel Drag(fish charter curacao).We had good luck and caught 4 wahoo and one of them was 27kilos and Niels said it was one of the biggest he has had on the boat, so we felt good. We were able to take some back to our villa and cooked it many different ways. It always taste better when it's that fresh and you caught it yourself. We found the crew to be very helpful. Thanks Gerry and Steve you guys rock. I would book again with Niels and crew.
