- Sandy540 contributionsThere is security personnel at the beach during the week from around 8 am - 5 pm. The parking lot is free, gravel and has some pretty large pot holes. To get to the beach you go down some concrete stairs that have a hand rail to hold on to. the beach is a mix of coral and sand with easy entrance into the water. Snorkeling is okay but the constant surge of water while we were there made visibility silty and you had to be careful not to get too close to the edge of the rocks. I saw flying gurnards snorkeling both times we visited the beach. The beach was not busy which was a bonus.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten February 5, 2025
- ZeCarlos DSao Paulo, SP21 contributionsVery beautiful beach. But there are restrictions on the entry of food and drink outside. Allow you to take outside only water. This type of restriction, in my view, greatly limits who wants to attend is beach. Therefore, in my review, you lose points.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 24, 2024
- SofiaCh154 contributionsThis beach is worth staying at least for a morning or afternoon, its beauty must be appreciated. The beach is beautiful, one of the most beautiful in Curaçao. We just stopped by to see it and a few days later we went back to stay for a morning and it was well worth it! It makes sense for those who like something more natural, wild. There is no confusion, very few people on the beach. There is no bar, but there are chairs and hats for rent.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 7, 2024
- 14jkcPittsburgh, Pennsylvania397 contributionsSeems like more of a locals beach. The beach itself is small w/rocks and coral so you need water shoes. The visibility in the water isn't great until you swim out a bit. Snorkeling was pretty good. The only lionfish I saw during our 2-week trip was here, which I suppose is a good thing and a testament to the lionfish hunting that is being done all over the island.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten October 20, 2024
- MiguemexMexico City, Mexico32,317 contributionsPlaya Jeremi is a real gem to value for its crystal clear waters, gentle surf, and beautiful panoramic view of this small bay. From enjoying yourself from a bed or umbrella, bathing in its warm waters or snorkeling...it will always be a comforting experience. Suggestion: On the hill next to the parking lot there is a bench where under the shade of the trees you have the opportunity to belong to this natural wonder. When visiting Curacao, enjoy Playa Jeremi because: LIFE...is a JOURNEY!Visited April 2024Traveled soloWritten October 24, 2024

This beach is pretty and the snorkelling is good, but we had trouble with the bugs. Also, the snorkelling at Playa Lagun 1 km away is better and there are more services. It was nice to see all the local families come to Jeremi on the weekend though.

Definitely a beach the locals go to. It’s very small, but really pretty. Unfortunately, almost no shade unless you bring your own. Didn’t stay long because of the lack of shade, but still glad we saw it.

- pulled into this beach and it did have beautiful view from uptop!
- only 2-3 other cars in the lot, there was a guy who was in a "security" shirt so we thought we would be fine, however he got into a car and drove away as we were unloading our car
- there was some locals just "hanging about" and we didn't feel safe leaving anything in the car
- got to the beach and there was no real "sand" mostly rocks
- not a well taken care beach-- trash and cigarette butts present
- after a few minutes decided to leave since we couldn't snorkel without thinking our stuff would be stolen
- would suggest going down to Lagun or Playa Abao as alternatives

ok, this beach is simply amazing. Natural and didn't feel very overcrowded at all even if you get there around 11 AM there are still plenty of chairs. Sand is nice but there are a few rocks when you enter the beach. Water and Currents are fine however it can get deep really fast as you go out this holds true to alot of the beaches in Curacao

Small, pretty beach with decent wade-in snorkeling. No services - so bring blanket and food/water. Very clear water. Snorkel alongside either cliff face.

Playa Jeremi is a good place to relax. It isn't as crowded as beach further south and east. Good restaurants too.

Jeremi has now been cleaned up since our first visit to Curacao 5 years ago, when we avoided it. There’s security and umbrellas and beds to rent. We went there 4 times in our 2 week stay and loved the swimming, snorkeling and peace. It was never crowded. The Latin music emanating from one of the houses nearby only added to the atmosphere! Best snorkelling is to the right, around the corner. Lots of coral and fish. Even saw some curious small squid.

Were you on a cruise and did this beach. Hoping to visit in October. I am hoping to find a small amount of sea glass. Thanks,

We will be in Curacao November 7 for one day from a cruise ship. How do we get to Playa Jeremi?
Written October 21, 2016
The only way to travel there is by car. The cruise ship docks at the Renaissance hotel. There is a Budget rent a car located 2nd floor in the business center. Book a car and pick up there. Cost $50 a day. Get a good map. There are only 2 main roads West End so if you take the wrong one it loops. SHEKINAH in the lobby is a concierge for the hotel and helpful. Or... Google map before you go, and print. There are blue signs posted on roads.
