One of the nicer beaches we visited in the area. Sun beds are available as are umbrellas and golly you need them. It was hot but there was a good and constant breeze which we were grateful for. The water is lovely and clear and...More

This was my favorite beach we visited in Curacao. It was great for swimming and there were lots of families with kids playing in the calm water. The view was beautiful. There is a little snack bar that serves hamburgers, frikkandel, etc for good prices....More
Went here on a tour. Good clean white sand beach. Good jump off rocks, snorkel, or just lounge on beach chairs. There are some rocks on beach to navigate but don’t need water shoes. The restaurant is okay but a long wait. It’s relatively cheap...More
Kenapa is a wonderful, white sandy beach with clear blue waters. Amazing but .... so crowded. And not a really nice restaurant or similar available just a snack corner giving out burgers in plastic boxes. Nature and plastic, so ignorant!

Standard price for taxes is $50 per hour. The trip up to the beach is about 40 45 minutes each way so, the standard fee is $50 each way. However, I found a guy that was willing to give me half price per hour because I was using him for the whole day. Entire day cost me $200 instead of $400 but I got my own private guide to every little Nook and cranny on the island. Well worth it in my book. I had him drive me around all week. It was fantastic! All the finest out-of-the-way places that tourists don't know about. The best street food available also, that you were his don't know about. I figured it would actually be cheaper than renting SUV for the week if I figured in gas and the cost of a snorkeling tour. This guy took me to better places than the tours could ever take you. I am returning in a couple of weeks oh, maybe I'll see you there ! If you like, I can get you my guys phone number and taxi ID number.
The beach is mostly fine sand and very comfortable to walk on. However at the edge of the water will be exposed small chunks of Coral which can be uncomfortable to walk on at times. In the water it can be either soft sand or a mixture of sand and chunks of coral. I found it best to wear some water socks just to be safe. However, most people do not. There is a limited amount of cover & beach chairs available. Restroom facilities are . I did not notice if there was a shower but, then again I wasn't looking. There are also restaurants on the Hills surrounding. It is a beautiful place to be. Enjoy yourself!
