We were on vacations on Curacao and decide to explore the island. Jan Thiel was one of the places we explored but very rocky and almost no sand. We continued the exploration till stoping at La Bahia

Such a beautiful beach with many dining options! I have stayed at papagayo several times and the beach never ceases to amaze. It is hardly ever crowded and the view is beautiful. Even good snorkeling right off shore

This is a great beach to spend a few hours either laying in the sun, snorkeling, swimming in the infinity pool, or trying out water sports. It's usually very busy because of the resorts around the shore, so go on an off peak day.

The actual beach is eh. We use the saltwater Infiniti pool. It's set up to look like a beach but in actuality it's a pool! It's ingenious! It's also wonderful to be able to have your lunch or even breakfast right on the beach.

Although this is touted as one of the most must-see beaches in Curacao, we were not very impressed last year. The water was cool and refreshing and the beach was pristine, but it seemed like there were more bars/restaurants than beach. We're glad we experienced it, but we prefer to relax at some of the other beaches. This one feels... More

Good music but unfortunately the service for getting drinks is bad. Having to wait 20 minutes to be served....

This is more of a trendy, upscale area. Fancy restaurants. Nice to visit once but wouldn't go back. Not my kind of place for relaxation. too yuppie for me.

It is the private beach of a resort for mainly Dutch tourists. You had to pay to entry and to get a sunbed, otherwise there is very limited space for your towel. Free wifi.
