My girlfriend and I met Derek for a Wingfoil lesson, first time for the both of us. He’s super chill and explains things in a very calm and concise manner. He’s out in the water with you giving instruction the whole time. He got my girlfriend up and riding quickly, we were both extremely happy with the lesson he gave. We would definitely recommend Derek if you’re looking to get in the water and learn something new!

This was such a good time! Derek is a great instructor.... Very experienced, insightful, and patient! This is a step up from kiting so if you are ready for a challenge (at less than 1/2 the cost of kiting) then send Derek a message. He is willing to do group lessons as well...

Super nice, patience and knowledgeable instructor! This is one of the best spots I’ve ever seen for a beginner - calm water, no boats, waist deep for a long time, easy entry/exit and nobody except kiters there. Also a few facilities like lounge chairs in the shade! I was standing up on 2nd lesson, so they must be doing something right! Highly, highly recommended!!! And good wind every day we were there.

I had two wing foil lessons with Derek along with my boyfriend and we'll definitely book some more! His explanations were clear and insightful. The vibe during the lesson is really chill!
Derek was in the water with us during the lessons this way we get live coaching and helpful tips.
He always make sure we are safe and having fun!
It was my first time touching that kind of equipment and I easily felt confident due to the great explanations Derek gave me.

I had a few lessons with Derick along with my wife. What a great experience! He has an awesome vibe while giving instruction. Really cool laid back vibe! His instruction was precise and effective. I was amazed with how attentive he was. He actually stayed by my side the entire lesson on a paddle board. We actually only had planned to take one lesson, but ended up coming back for 4 lessons with FlowZone... Highly recommended!

I rented a wing foil board with them so it was easier to carry the rest of luggage in plane. Derek was nice, brought the board to my hotel and told me the great places on the island. Curacao is a nice place for wing foil! I recommend

Derek made learning Wingfoiling fun, safe and super enjoyable, he's a natural teacher. In just two lessons he was able to get me up and going consistently on the foil. My only regret is not having more lessons!

Derek was so enthusiastic and patient while he taught us the basics of wing foiling. Wish I could have done a few more days of lessons! Beautiful, isolated location as well.

We, Thomas and Robin, had our first Wing Foil Experience in Sint Joris Baai Curaçao with an excellent instructor. Derek thought us all about the basics and the first steps which enabled us to stand up and surf our first 100 m in our first lesson.
We appreciate it a lot! Perfect location with an perfect instructor!!!!

I have experience with kite foiling and really wanted to try this new sport.
It is a really fun feeling, safer than kiting and less hassle.
Derek is a great teacher who gives very understandable instructions.
The St. Joris bay is a great spot to learn with shallow waters to start from,
and a cosy beach with bar.
I will definitely come back!
