My wife and I recently visited Curaçao with friends on a cruise vacation. We did a tour that included a visit to the distillery. The facility was very small and we were surprised that they produced the popular Curaçao liquor at this location. It was...More

As part of an excursion package we stopped here but our visit was brief. It was good to see the distillery and hear the history behind the curaçao liquor. The distillery was smaller than I would expect. There were samples out at the end but...More

`We stopped here while on a cruise... didn't do an excursion, just on our own. Short but informative tour! Interesting to learn how it is made and that there are FLAVORS! Never knew this. They gave us MANY samples to try and then we got...More

Stopped here on a tour and found it very interesting and tasty! Great flavours from all the different varieties of the Liqueur! My favourite was the Tamarind. Also they showed Alcolado Glacial, which is terrific on sun burn to cool you down.

I always wanted to visit this place on our cruise stops. Finally had the opportunity. Distillery is in a commercial district tucked away in a corner. Not very big, only a few of the orange trees on the property. It’s a collection of buildings that...More

I going to start with I didn't know it was orange liqueur. That being said the self tour was very interesting. The best part was the free samples and the drink we purchased afterwards. Oh yeah and the souvenirs from the gift shop.

I didn’t do a tour, but instead just came to see and sample. The woman giving the samples was very nice. However, the ladies at the bar were not attentive at all!!! There were three of them and no one acknowledged me for a while....More

The free samples were the best part. I wouldn't spend more than 1 hour here. It's more of a come and go. The liqueur was great and comes in several colors.

We joined this tour just outside the docking area. We were in an air-conditioned bus and were taken around the island and saw the distillery, a church, and several residential areas. The guide spoke in both English and Spanish and told us a great deal...More

Unfortunately, the Tamarind liqueur is not available in the USA. They do have the Curaçao Liqueur available. Check their website.

There are possibilities to take the bus to Chobolobo. A short walk from the cruise terminal, you will find the bus station. Ask there for the right bus to take you to the distillery. The gelatos are definitely sold... More
