We visited the distillery as part of a shore excursion while cruising. Our driver facilitated the tour telling us about the history of the distillery in relation to the history of the island. The tour was short, there were also information boards about the distillery process and it's history. There wasn't much going on as far as manufacturing while we... More

It was OK to visit. Self tour is boring but free. It is about 4-5 large boards of reading to get a little of the history of Curacao and curacao drink. Curacao is a triple sec with great unique local taste. Don't think the colors mean anything, they are all the same just different coloring (at least from what I... More

This is a self guided tour that is very informative. Not a long tour but provides great history of the island and the liqueur. There were options for private tours that we didn't take. After the tour you can sample the liqueurs and there is an onsite bar for a drink and snack. Gift shop was nice. You can purchase... More

The "tour" is very short, you wind your way through one large room. In fact, you can't actually see anything made here at all, it's more a tour of various storyboards and items that describe the history of the factory. I'd recommend doing the free walk though and grabbing some free samples on the way out. Oh, and definitely pair... More

Thank you for your visit. We try to improve our explanation of the production process constantly so thank you for your feedback. To produce the liqueur takes 16 days minimum. A large part of the process is the distilling for a couple of days in the copper still, and some days in our mixing tank for filtering. At that time,... More

Take a guide tour on the small factory to know more about liqueur & Curaçao. 1 cocktail is included in the price, of course with some liqueur digustation :)

Noting special. Free shot. Story about the history of Curaçao. Not a must visit, but if you have spare time, it is a good place to visit

Part of our island tour took us to the Curacao Distillery where they still make the famous Blue Curacao liqueur today. And, they didn't just stop at making the blue stuff! They make about 10 different flavors and they're there for you to taste! It's an unassuming tour, mostly self guided, but very informative.

Not just the typical tourist stop, but one filled with history and tasting! As part of the Royal Caribbean Tour we stopped in Chobolobo for the insightful tour and got to taste and purchase this unparalleled product. Still a functional factory producing many different flavors of Curacao...not just the famous Blue Curacao. Anyone guess why they made the original blue?

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! As to the origin of the color blue. There is no information of who specifically started production this variation of Curaçao Liqueur. We like to believe it is because of the crystal clear blue waters and deep blue skies found in our Caribbean island paradise. More
