Noting special. Free shot. Story about the history of Curaçao. Not a must visit, but if you have spare time, it is a good place to visit

Part of our island tour took us to the Curacao Distillery where they still make the famous Blue Curacao liqueur today. And, they didn't just stop at making the blue stuff! They make about 10 different flavors and they're there for you to taste! It's an unassuming tour, mostly self guided, but very informative.

Not just the typical tourist stop, but one filled with history and tasting! As part of the Royal Caribbean Tour we stopped in Chobolobo for the insightful tour and got to taste and purchase this unparalleled product. Still a functional factory producing many different flavors of Curacao...not just the famous Blue Curacao. Anyone guess why they made the original blue?

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! As to the origin of the color blue. There is no information of who specifically started production this variation of Curaçao Liqueur. We like to believe it is because of the crystal clear blue waters and deep blue skies found in our Caribbean island paradise. More

The liquor was very good, but the tour was short. We only spent about 15 minutes and had read all of the information. I suggest stopping by on a larger tour or if you have a rental car. For us, $20 each way in a cab to visit was not really worth it. Try the frozen cocktails if you go;... More

The distillery was part of our $15 tour of the little island of Curacao. We came out of the cruise ship for a walk and we were offered this tour at the Tourist Information Kiosk. The price was reasonable so we decided to join. Our "tour bus" was a truck converted to a bus with open air windows and wooden... More

We went on the free tour and of course purchased Curacao. Found out later we could have got it much less expensive at the duty free at the airport! We paid $28 USD and duty free was $18!!

My husband and I decided to do the tour of the factory and it is worth it! We upgraded to the deluxe tour, which includes two cocktails and gelato, in addition to tasting. For $20/person it is well worth it. We had a private guided tour and learned so much about the island, it's history and Curacao liquor. We will... More

An old time factory in modern time. Very fascinating to see employees working not in a great hurry focusing on doing their work properly. Nice shop.

Amazing process utilizing skins from oranges to produce a wonderful liqueur. History of the process and the family is well laid out in the factory. Purchases can be made on site.

To me this place was a dream come true as I always have the name of the Liqueur identified with this Island in the back of my head :) once you arrive you can actually enter a free tour where you can learn a lot of interesting information, see how the liqueur is still made (yes, that's their distillery which...
