A good place to go if you're staying at The Renaissance. It is adjacent to the hotel and contains several good restaurants as well as souvenir and other shops.

Very well maintained and the perfect place to sit and relax for a bite to eat or just have drinks with friends. A short walk from the cruise port but be careful of... More

As far as that goes it's certainly one of the "nicer" tourist shop areas we've seen in our travels -- however it does lack any sense of authenticity despite being built into a neat looking fort. interesting to walk around the walls of the fort. Some decent p[laces to eat and shop, however the commercialization of the place has totally destroyed whatever historical feel there could be

This area was newly renovated. The shops were highend (like the Cheese shop with amazing Dutch cheese and Delft porcelain) but I did not feel like I was in Curacao!
