Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list...

Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list located within the Santa Barbara Planation. Designed by the legendary golf architect Pete Dye, the par 72 Old Quarry Golf Course draws its name from the historic quarries where famed Curaçao marble is mined. If you’re looking for a phenomenal getaway, our golf course is the perfect choice. Pete Dye's championship seaside layout was designed to fit seamlessly into the islands's hills and valleys. A challenge to players of all skill levels, the course meanders between the stunning blue Caribbean Sea, the slopes and hills of the Tafelberg Mountain and the sheltered bay known as Spanish Water. To assure it would be built true to the conservation principles of Santa Barbara's owners, Pete Dye's son P.B.Dye along with the Golf Manager, Jim Bolinger, planted its fairways and greens with the hearty Paspalum grass, which can be irrigated using both brackish and recycled water. A handsome clubhouse and restaurant answer golfers' needs and provide a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

The golf course is beautiful, with views of the Caribbean ocean and the Spanish Waters Bay. The rental clubs were very nice, and the staff was wonderful. We're not great golfers but only ended up losing a couple balls. They strategically placed sand traps and coral areas so even if you end up off the fairway, you often don't lose... More

I played this course for fisrt time and was really impressed. I normally play in punta cana and can say this course is as good as the best one in DR. The service in the pro-shop was good. very nice landscaping and amazing view of the ocean. Will be back soon. I took advantage of a Halloween special. Good!!!

Played here and on Blue Bay during my 2 week Holliday at Curaçao. This is the better one of the two in my opinion, greens are better and the fairways are greener and the air is cleaner. You need to bring golf shoes here or rent them. The rental golf set was of high standards, the best I've ever had.... More

I golfed this beautiful course April 19th. The Pro Shop staff was so welcoming and I had the pleasure of purchasing some items for myself, my spouse and my friends. The course layout along the ocean is breathtaking. Going deeper into course you see Marina views as well. The Pete Dye layout is challenging yet fair. The greens are very... More

We're not golfers so I really can't speak to the difficulty of the course, but it is truly a beautiful location along the coastline!

I had the great fortune to work in the Caribbean and specifically in Curacao for eight months. Having last had golf lessons in Ireland it was an ideal opportunity to get some more lessons under the belt. As i was put up in the Hilton Hotel my first call was the other golf course but alas though they advertised a... More

The Old Quarry course is gorgeous and well tended. And challenging! It's really windy, so bring your A game. And if you don't have an A game, spend USD60/hour and take a lesson with the PGA pro at Old Quarry, Jane Westrate. She's got a great eye, really good at communicating her observations and what needs to change, and patient.... More

Definitely one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Caribbean and it is top on the best courses worldwide; the scenery along the sea, the mountains, the bay and the Marina its outstanding: the maintenance of the course with the great landscaping adds to your enjoyment playing a wonderful game.
