Not many people can say they’ve gone to 1006ft below sea level in a submarine but thanks to Substation Curaçao, we can! Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Thanks Jordy for setting it up!

This is a once in a lifetime experience. We were guided by Jordi & Tico both seriously good! Good briefing to start with and since two of us didn't want to go (somewhat nervous) the woman from the Ocean Lens offered us to go in there (also a top experience!) so we could see the submarine go by. We could actually wave at eachother before the sub descended into the deep. In the end an experience of one hour in the deep but 2-3 hours altogether with very skillsfull en friendly guidance. Thanks we'll remember this for a long long time!

Diving into the unknown depths with Substation Curacao is a unique opportunity, exploring what's there below. We saw a variety of fish and corals which you do not see while snorkeling or scuba diving. The views, sounds, and information of our pilot Jordy where fascinating. highly recommend it!

Review of: Explorers Dive
My hubs loves science, facts and knowledge of all kinds. He's a techie nerd. I say this in a loving way. He loved going to the Substation and getting to view the sub first on dry land. Bruce one of the keepers of the sub showed us around. He and hubs had a great conversation about what all the sub does and how they go about the research that has been conducted. Then we visit Tico to book the trip down to 500 feet. It is not a run of a mill tourist attraction, it is a bit spending but helps defray costs but so very worth the money for something the hubs has always dreamed of experiencing. It was everything he had hoped for and much much more. The crew take their work very seriously for everyones safety but it is ovious that the all passion for what they do in the name of science. They also provided photos documenting the adventure and handed the usb to the hubs at the end of the trip. Thank you Bruce, Tico and Jordy for the thrill of a lifetime for my hubs.
