Let a guide take you to prime Curacao wildlife-viewing locations so you can enjoy them distraction-free on this tour from Willemstad. Visit a flamingo sanctuary to observe the pink birds in their natural habitat; and snorkel among wild sea turtles accompanied by a guide to ensure you enjoy the best experience while being respectful. Choose from two departure times and receive GoPro photos of the experience as keepsakes.

Get ready for amazingly turquoise waters and a long white sandy beach. There are a few public beach huts, but besides that its a flat island, with no trees/shade. There is a lighthouse that is totally worth the short walk and there are some shipwrecks at the other side of the island. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, snorkeling gear and good vibes!

Just south of the more accessed [crowded] neighbor Playa Kenepa Grandi [Gran Knip] is this pretty beach. Has good off-shore snorkeling. A snack stand and free parking available.

This was one of my favorite beaches. Starting with the view of crystal clear water with white sand. Having that to look at all day is just great. Another reason we kept coming back to this beach is because this was one of the beaches that the locals frequent the most. Which means you get to hear their music smell their food as the bbq and interaction was great. Being among the locals was one of our favorite things about the experience.

Excellenttrip with Mermaid tours. We booked this after researching this and had positive results. Booking cost was $100 US pp + $9. (cash) for pickup 6:15 AM and return to our resort by 5:30 PM. They serve breakfast and lunch on the island and offer the best advice. They offer lots of Chaise lounger chairs and plenty of shade plus the use of snorkelling gear. They supply fresh water. We saw lots of fish and some sea turtles. A walk across the island to the shipwreck, past the abandoned lighthouse is easy but bring watershoes to walk. Bring lots of sunscrean and please DO NOT attempt to touch the sea turtles. Also if you are prone to sea sickness make sure to take something as the ride out takes about 1.5-2 hrs into the breeze, = choppy waters. The ride back is usually with the breeze. Enjoy your excursion.

We took the Serendipity (I think through Miss Anne tours) captained by Nico and it was great. Nico has a 105 foot yacht and it took us about an hour to get there. Once there they have their own large cabana for eating and lots of huts for protection from the sun. They provide breakfast and lunch and both meals were excellent. The snorkeling was very good- we saw 5-10 turtles and plenty of cool fish. And the beach there is really nice. All in all a great way to get away for a quiet respite. Our ride out and back was actually smooth, though Nico said it wasn’t always that calm. I’d recommend taking some Dramamine with you and enjoy this beautiful little island.
