Beautiful view on a crowded beach

We stayed close by and walked around the shops. The view was amazing but it can be loud if bars are playing music. I prefer a quieter beach. It is nice though having many choices... read more

We were dropped at Mambo Beach at the end of an excursion. The cost of admission was included in our excursion, however the cost of the lounge chairs was not. There were a limited number of chairs available for 3.50 the balance of the loungers and cabanas were 9.50 and up. We were only there 2 hours and I felt... More

Some other reviewers mentioned that there are too many kids and that's true. The reason for that is probably because there are inflatable rides there, right in the middle of the "pool". What I mean by the pool is, the beach is walled off with rocks out in the open a little which creates a kind of seawater pool. It... More

We've been to Curacao many times and just stayed downtown. This time we took a twenty minute cab ride and had the best day ever had there. The cab is $5 per person and there are 3-4 beach clubs. $3.50 admission per person and the same for lounge chairs right at the water. Madero Ocean Club is where we sat... More

We were traveling on cruiseship, so after we took a trip on the island we landed on Mambo Beach for an hour. Private beaches in Curaçao are better. The government tere doesn't take care of public beaches, so our tour guide recommended Mambo Beach. The entrance fee was ok, but everything inside had a cost and there were no cabanas... More

We stayed close by and walked around the shops. The view was amazing but it can be loud if bars are playing music. I prefer a quieter beach. It is nice though having many choices of dining right there.

Mambo Beach felt like the most tourist-filled and sanitized version of a Curacao beach I visited on my entire trip. I did like the more comfortable beach chairs they had, and there was a fair amount of shade, however there were more kids here than I could stand, the rock wall build out in the ocean prevented the calming sound... This was really a nice, clean beach. With numerous shops, bars and various eating places, it's the perfect place to hang out for the day. I see people complaining about the fees and the crowd. News flash... it's a beach in a hot country... they're always crowded! And of course we had to pay a nominal USD$3 for entry and... More

6 adults and 2 children we paid 80 USD, just to get in and to get 6 sun beds. Parking is free. Even for the "water play park in the sea" you have to pay separate. It's located in front of the beach. The should allow all customers who already paid entrance for the beach and not charge separate.
