The beach was amazing with warm waters and white sand! Our beach outside the hotel Royalton Hicacos was just awesome. I rate it five stars and would go back. There aren't many shells and you can walk out a long way barefoot in the water...More

Greatest beach in Cuba. We stay right across the street and it was a great place. The water was warm and pleasant

The beach is crystal clear and calm! the water was refreshing for a summer. The beach entertainment was also good. I wish they offered coconut water as they are currently wasting the coconuts on the trees

Varadero beach is calm, clean, and often crystal blue. It was the best part of our stay at the Paradisus resort (the Princessa). We were able to walk far into the ocean, in shallow water, on clear soft sand. Another plus: one can walk far...More

Sanctuary's private adults only beach is the best place to sit in the sun with your feet in the ocean whilst drinking a Mojito, bliss!

Hi, looking some advice on which area of Varadero Beach is nicest to stay at? Any views on Tuxpan hotel and area? Also, I've heard the wifi is very poor, my teenagers won't be happy with this, is there wifi in the hotels and is it only available in certain areas?

Well the beach was GORGEOUS, white sand, not grassy or rocky, and the water is crystal clear - blue and beautiful. Be careful which hotel you pick. Really check the reviews. I stayed at the Barcelo Solymar, and it was... More

Can I visit Varadero Beach by going to an All Inclusive Hotel, though not staying there? Meaning, do I have to stay at the hotel to visit the beach from their grounds?

Yes you must have the band on your wrist that each hotel gives out when you arrive. This proves that you are staying at the hotel. Some of the hotels are affiliated with others so before you book check with the travel agent.
What area can we go on the beach that has food/drinks and beach chairs? We plan on spending the day from Havana. Any recommendatiosn for car service would be grealty appreciated as well?
