Another great place to discover outside the resort near Varadero. 10 cuc fee at the entrance and then some of the beverages are free. After closure you can go to the second floor where the fiesta continues!

If you are staying at a good hotel, you will most likely have a better show. Something to do if you like to check things out.

I absolutely loved this place! There is no ceiling so when you look up you see the stars. I favoured this because it makes for a great atmosphere. The music is great, a mix of Latino, Reggae and Top Hits. What I liked most about...More

What a great night. We paid 10CUC entrance fee then free drinks all evening. Great variety of music, lots of English music but also some salsa. The two DJs performed a few routines and large screens to watch videos of the music being played. Loved...More

La Rumba and La Comparsita (1 Replies)
I have heard excellent things about these two different bars, and was wondering about how far would it be to walk here from Plays Caleta. Also, how far would the cab drive be and how much would it cost? Are these two clubs close together or far apart? Anyone have any personal experience in these clubs? Also, how much are drinks at these clubs? Finally, are these bars good on any particular nights or is it just luck of the draw?

Hiya Marko Usually about $10 to $15 CUC to get in and drinks $1 CUC fror beer and $2 CUC for hard liquor. Check with animacion staff they usually know what night is best and where ...Rumba is almost always jumpin on Thurs Fri and Sat ... la Comparsiota is near Palma Real so end of town about $5 to 7CUC to there and Ruumba is at the end of Ave las Americas and near Tuxapan and Xanadu Probably $10 CUC to there ...Share rides with others to make it more fun and cheaper Mardi

Which clubs are popular for each day of the week? I know the Cave is popular on Mondays. How about La Comparsita, La Bamba, Beatles Bar & Calle 62? When are they filled with people? I will be going Next Saturday the 15th and want an idea of where to go.
