An amazing experience

Fantastic part of our jeep safari tour, it is shallow and deep so do not worry if you are not the most competent swimmer!

Wow! This place is fantastic. We visited on a jeep safari day out. It's just lovely and very cold! But when it's 40 degrees outside its very refreshing. The little shop was cheap and cheerful too.

This was a great place to visit as part of our jeep experience tour with Thomson, the Cave is great but dark at the bottom where the water is, glad we went there.

A collapsed cave with a deep pool. Quite a long slippery walk down, so not for the faint hearted. The pool is 22 degrees - so they say, quite a shock after the 32 degree sea temperature. There are a couple of ledges to jump off, but not a lot else apart from bragging rights.

This was our last stop as part of the Jeep Safari tour and was well worth it. The cave is accessed via quite a lot of steps so not really for anyone who isn't very mobile. Once in the cave it isn't a huge area so even a few people can make it look full. The water is cold (so... More

We signed up for a coral snorkeling excursion and were less excited about the cave as a second venue, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. There are washrooms and a canteen at the entrance. It was a little crowded getting down the ~100 not so well maintained stairs and pool ladder practically falling in the water, but... More

We visited these caves last year and it was breathtaking once you reached the cave. The water was so clear, but cold and refreshing. Would definitely recommend a visit here. We ate lunch here too and the prices were so cheap and the food was excellent.

We visited the cave with our guide after a snorkling excursion, and very much enjoyed it! The waters are very cold, but it is a unique experience. It was, however, quite busy when we went (around 3pm in the afternoon) and perhaps earlier in the morning or later in the evening would help you escape the crowd.

A definite must when in Varadero! We stopped here while doing one of the nexus tours and it was beautiful to see the structure of the cave and the deep blue of the water. It was really refreshing after being in the sun and heat snorkeling all day. For the Canadians we all dived in as to us it feels... More
