Got a cab from Varadero for 40cucs return. Lovely cave with easy access down to the water. Water cool and refreshing and not as cold as some cenotes we have been to in Mexico. We got here around 10am and had the place to ourselves until groups tours arrived around 11am just as we were leaving and it looked as... More

It's just amazing to see up that close (please do not touch) the drawings. Nothing is roped off and you feel like you've discovered them yourself in a mini exploration.

This was our second visit to Saturno as a part of the Jeep Excursion. If we were to ever go again, we would skip the jeep tour, and take a taxi to Saturno and go during a time that is not busy.. I believe the cave typically gets busier after 2 pm. You must be agile to get to the... More

Definitely take the time to tour and swim in this cave .It is so unique .We had the pleasure of meeting one of the locals young men who swims here regularly performs breathtaking defiance of gravity by climbing the walls and diving from extreme heights. So awesome to meet you Tony :)

We went to the cave as part of the jeep safari trip. It was a Saturday and absolutely packed with local kids. You couldn't get near the steps therefore making it difficult to get in and out of the pool. Definitely NOT for the feint hearted or less mobile as a long way down by steps

Nice place close to Varadero, crystal clear water inside the cave where you can dive in. Make sure you go ready with your bathing suit and water or beach shoes so you can step on the rocks.

Awesome cool cave, but I do not know why it's promoted as a swimming area. There are swallows nesting in the cave so the thought of swimming in the "refreshing" (chilly!) water among the other tourists with bird poop somewhat grossed me out, however the water was exceptionally clear! As a bird watcher, there were not just swallows in the... More

The cave is well worth seeing, but the long flight of stairs down and back up again is a constant procession of tourists in both directions
