We had a very good day with Miguel. He picked us up on time at our airbnb, and took us around to all the sights, giving us the history of each place. We had a couple of specific requests which are not on the standard itinerary and was happy to accomodate that. I would recomend this tour.

We had George as our guide and he did a wonderful job. He informed us very clearly in perfect English everything we wanted to know. The open air car ride throughout the city was real fun and went above our expectations. George also recommended a fabulous place for lunch. We would definitely recommend using this tour service when visting Havana.

My husband and I recently took our first trip to Cuba along with the couple we were traveling with we decided to take the bus tour "walking tour". It was a very long day however well worth it and we had the best tour guide ever Lynn made the day for us she was so knowledgeable about all the sites we passed by or stopped at she made it a very memorable experience!! I dont remember the bus drivers name but I want to thank him for a comfortable and safe trip. Oh and if you and stop for what Lynn described as the best Pinnacolata ever get one she was right!!

We booked a day tour with Havana Tours and from the first moment the process was very easy and smooth.
We chose the 6h tour mixed with a old car drive and a walking tour with a lunch stop. Total of 6h.
The Chevrolet was great and the driver very knowledgeable. We ride around Old Havana, new Havana and every spot we wanted to be
Then we had Barbara, our walking tour guide which was very friendly and happy to show us and answer us any questions we had.
We stop in a restaurant on top of the hill with local music, great food and very friendly staff.
We recommend this tour Agengy 100%!

We booked our 3 Havana Journeys yourself in the UK before our holiday in Cuba. The whole process was clear, quick and easy. The car picked us up on time from our accomodation in Old Havana, not the easiest place to find! We enjoyed all 3 tours (Havana, Havana sunset tour and Hemmingway), all were different, all worth doing. The staff were friendly efficient and attentive, the cars were beautiful well maintained classic cars. Our guide Erlinda was fantastic. She was so passionate about Havana, she bought a real energy to our time with her. She knows all secrets of Havana and she is so knowledgeable!! She answered all our questions and we had many!! She even took us to a rooftop bar and showed us how to salsa! I would really recommend using this company if you have the good fortune to be visiting Havana.

Great day, good value, informative and taken to a wonderful local restaurant we would not have discovered in a million years. Met by Erlinda who led us on the first half of the tour, an informative guided walk before leading us to our driver Pedro Emilio and his 1954 air conditioned Chevrolet for another informative wider tour dropping us for lunch in between.
$100 dollars for the both of us for all this ( had to buy our own lunch) which was by far the best deal anyone we spoke to on our ship had achieved. TUI charged around $95 each for a three hour car tour from anon English speaking guide. Someone was pleased to pay $120 for the same, locally.
Both guides looked after us, in particular Erlinda advising us of some of the issues buying food and drink from street traders and the like.

I could not have been more impressed with the Cuban people and in particular, our tour guide George. He was friendly, educated on the history of Cuba and it's many historical buildings, and was able to communicate with my family in English extremely well. We are from Florida, USA and I recommend that anyone who has an opinion of Cuba without ever having been should take a trip there to see for themselves.¡Viva Cuba Libre!

We had a great tour with Yanet and our driver. The car was clean and comfortable and expertly driven (a couple of the roads had a lot of potholes).
Yanet was a really good guide. She was friendly and informative on her country’s history and traditions. She also spoke about how people live in Cuba today which was very interesting.
We wanted to do something that wasn’t in the itinerary so we did that instead of stopping at the beach. A most enjoyable day out, excellent value for money and a tour we would wholeheartedly recommend,

I have been traveling to Cuba for the past 5 years and always book day trips with Havana journeys.
This time we went to Havana. Our driver Roberto was great, he arrived on time and was waiting for us patiently. (Travelling with two kids can be challenging) He made phone calls to confirm tour times at the cigar factory in Havana so we could plan accordingly.
We met our guide Miguel once we arrived to Havana. He was waiting for us by the cigar factory. We visited the newly renovated Capitolium building. It is stunning! We had lunch at a small restaurant. Great service and food was excellent. It was really reasonably priced.
I really appreciated Roberto’s and Miguel’s flexibility and patience during the day as our plans were constantly changing and kids were getting cranky and tired. They were extremely flexible and helpful with everything during the day. Had great conversations and laughed a lot.
Thank you for the great service, it’s been a pleasure to tour Cuba with Havana journeys!

We arranged a day tour with Havana Journeys on January 7th, 2020 of Havana and Hemmingway’s Home, our first visit to Cuba. From our very first contact with Ricardo to saying goodbye to our wonderful tour guide and driver this was a first class experience. Everything was handled professionally and courteously. We had a lovely day with them and learned a lot about the history . Planning a longer trip to the countryside later this year and most definitely will use them, I know we will be taken care of! What is the current situation in Havana following the Hurricane? Are you running tours at the moment? There doesn't appear to be a way of booking.

We paid 190 euro for 3 of us for a 6 hour tour. (classic convertible/walking tour) Do not have one bad thing to say about Havana Journeys. Having a private tour for 1/3 the price of the same cruise ship excursion was priceless. Our lunch at a privately owned restaurant was 81 euro complete for a great meal with soda for all. (we treated our guide to lunch also - so that was for 4 people) The communication between HJ and us was fast and easy, and the tour included what WE wanted - specifically geared to our wants. Highly recommend.

hi , i just wanted to ask u. were doing a cruise to cuba and i have 2 kids with me. so i wanted to tour the city and things. and get some history. i read ur review. but could u tell me how long ur tour was. hrs? carnival seems to be only offering like 6-8 hr tours. and thats to much for my young kids. i wanted a 3 hr tour or 4 tops. i was gonna get in touch with havanna journeys. to see. thanks.

Havana Journeys was the easiest company to work with! They are VERY flexible, and will tailor your tours to your individual needs. Also, ask for Erlinda! Tell her that Ryan sent you! She is WONDERFUL with kids! She loves kids, and will completely dote over them. DO NOT TAKE THE TOUR OFFERED BY YOUR SHIP!!! I hear nothing but sad tales of how terribly they are organized. Definitely use Havana Journeys, and ask for Erlinda! Have fun, and I hope you enjoy Havana as much as my wife and I did!

Has anyone had an issue contacting them? I got an automated reply saying they were closed for 3 weeks and to contact them again after May 2... trying to get a tour for the last week in May and panicking because all the companies I have contacted aren’t responding!! Definitely don’t want to book a tour through the cruise
