The performance appears to be an attempt to recreate the experience of entertainment from the 40's and 50's. The venue is terrible. They packed us into a nightclub meant to hold about 1/3 of the people present that night. There was one way in and...More

A fantastic hour spent at this performance, Consisting of dancing, ice skating, comedy, gymnastics, sports and death defying motorbikes. I was mesmerised for the whole time, a mix of music and people it was well planned and executed. Would recommend this as a must see.

We book this tour through the ship excursions. We did not do the Copa as it was twice the price. I was expecting more feathers and colorful costumes, They used pink lighting, so everything comes out pink. There is no English spoken at all in...More

Amazing show with so much energy and great performers- so many quick costume and makeup changes and you can tell a lot of effort goes into the production. However, the chairs are small and uncomfy and they really pack you in with no room to...More

The Cabaret Parisien Show is historically interesting with lovely costumes, and very nice music in the evening. We enjoyed it.

My friend and I plan to visit Cuba on NCL Sun in April. We plan to pick up tickets at the hotel while on tour with our private guide. We also plan to eat in the buffet restaurant in the basement before the show. One concern is I read how you are packed in tightly and that ladies restrooms are at the back. Is it even possible to get to the restroom during the show? If that is a concern of ours, would you recommend NOT getting there before doors open and wait until room is already half full? Also would it be possible to leave the show say 15 minutes before the conclusion if we need to? I truly appreciate anyone who could answer these questions. We are not expecting GREAT food at the buffet restaurant, but as long as there is some variety that is fine. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Cabaret Parisien v. Tropicana Cabaret -- and reservation ?? (11 Replies)
I was looking at the Cabaret Parisien website and tried to reserve the show for November 18. It shows as "not available" on the web site -- and similarly not available for the nights before and 1 after. Is the Cabaret Parisien no longer available to US tourists? If you were going to chose one show, which would you choose -- Cabaret Parisien or Tropicana Cabaret?

No need for reservation! Just go to Hotel National and buy tickets. Parisien is much cheaper then Tropicana , Tropicana suppose to be better!

Cabaret Parisien Hotel National from Cruise Ship Terminal (4 Replies)
Does anyone have advice about attending the show at Cabaret Parisien while docked at cruise ship terminal - distance? travel time? safe to walk? best mode of transportation? Can you see the show without ordering dinner?

It is about 3 miles per google maps - so about an hours walk. I would take a taxi. " Can you see the show without ordering dinner?" - I am sure that you can.
Question re: Cabaret Parisien "reservation" (7 Replies)
I called Hotel Nacional and made a reservation for the cabaret next week. The reservationist indicated that we should arrive at 8:30 to pay for the tickets on-site. While we did plan to arrive early, we were thinking 9pm, not 8:30, since I don't think we will be finished with dinner quite that early. Has anyone who's attended this show provide some info about what time to arrive, where and how to pay for reserved tickets, how crowded it gets, etc.? I'll alter our dinner plans if necessary,...More

I just returned from Havana and the Cabaret Parisien show. As someone who is short - the whole seating thing is important to me. So I actually paid for my ticket online in advance and received an email with a voucher (though there is no need to do this). I also planned to arrive at the Hotel Nacional early as I wanted to look around. (I got there around 530 after a late lunch). The gardens and hotel are beautiful and worth a look if you can come early. I also went to the business center -...More
