I took salsa classes in some other schools before and after, ranging from good to mediocre - but nothing came even close to Casa del Son. I took 3x2 hours privates. I don't know how she did it, but she knew exactly what to teach,...More
This was my 3rd time in Cuba and far most my best experience. Was there in November and had a 2 hr class elsewhere. Could not remember anything at night time when I went to practice. Started classes in US right after but did not...More
I was so disappointed with this dance school. I'd booked a 2-hour salsa lesson for my young son and I a couple of weeks earlier. It had been arranged andconfirmed via a lengthy email exchange as I'd wanted to be sure it would be suitable...More
I booked private lessons via email the week before we went as a surprise (more like a shock) for my husband and I. They were really prompt at getting back to me via email. I just gave them the dates we were in Havana and...More
My husband and I booked a two hour one on one with the school and we were not disappointed! On a typical Havana street behind two old wooden doors we found a cool and trendy place, full of studios, people buzzing around with a lot...More

I don't think they take online payment - I may be wrong - but this is Cuba - things are simple and done in Cash for the most part. I tried to make a reservation online prior to arrival - but I don't think they check their online / inbox so I ended up being a Walk-In.
I think an instructor for your own group of 3 - 4 is a private lesson.
I think a group lesson is when you join 15 new friends at the scheduled 8 PM group class.
I could be wrong....
There are private instructors who give private lessons [or for a group of 3 - 4] on your own schedule -
Personally I found that Casa Del Son was crowded - they always tried to fit me into a room, with an instructor - but I felt like I was being put into a crowded room with different music playing for different students ...
PM me if you want contact for a private Dance teacher.
