We used the bus both as a sightseeing excursion and as transportation. Although at $10CUC per person, a taxi is more economical for groups of more than two people. It was a good ride through Vieja, Centro, Vedado, Nuevo Vedado and Miramar. Being on the upper deck provides a different perspective of the city than walking at street level. A... More

Price has gone up to 10cuc Had rained a lot previous day & they hadn't bother to dry yhe seats on the top deck. We were staying in Vedado so got on at the Cemetary and whilst we wanted to end up in the old town decided to go the opposite way 1st. Waste of time,. Nothing to see in... More

If you click my profile to look at all my reviews, you can see that I have mainly posted positive ones. Partly due to the fact that I'm good at doing research beforehand, and avoiding the bad options, but also because I have a positive attitude by default. The Havana Bus Tours however, was a disappointment. The speaker system was... More

I would highly recommend taking this tour. We were on the bus for about 3 hours and saw almost everything we wanted to see. Many of the places such as Revolution Square and the cemetery were too far for us to walk to, so we probably wouldn't have been able to see them without this bus. It's cheap and of... More

Of the 1.5 hour round trip only 15 mins is devoted to driving around the sights/streets of central Havana. The rest will be spent going from average hotel to hotel out in the burbs to pickup/drop off guests. Give it a miss.

We had mixed experiences on the Hop-on, Hop-off bus service, but by and large were happy enough with how it went. Overall, it was an excellent introduction to/overview of Havana. We used the bus on 31 December and it was 5 CUC per person. Did the full circuit, from Parque Central around the waterfront and Habana Vieja, along the Malecon... More

In any city the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour should be the place to start. Sitting on top of the open double deck bus helps one get the city sorted out in one's mind and you can see and make notes of what attractions and places one would want to go back to. Some reviewers have said that the tours bus... More

We had taken the tour on the 30th of December and it was 5 CUC, on 1st January out of nowhere the price doubled because of the holidays. While that was unacceptable, what was most infuriating was that around lunch time all the three buses of T1 that tour the centre till Miramar left all passengers in the heat of... More

I wouldn't waste your time on this. We took the T3 to get to the Plaza de Revolucion (as recommended by our tour company). Beyond that it takes you further away from city and acts a a hotel transfer stopping only at hotels and the occasional disused facility (disused aquarium, disused circus thingy) So Ww checked out the plaza and... We jumped on this bus hoping to have all the major sights pointed out, what we got was a view of a very sad aquarium, fairground and grotty hotels. It did offer a great idea of life in the outskirts of Havana, also if you sit on the top watch out for the low level trees which can easily hit... More
