You can disagree to his ideas, but you can't deny he wanted to change things for the better in his mind. It is very emotional and powerful to see an idealist and his ideas in motion. I recommend this visit to everyone who likes history.

We visited this as part of a general trip. It is a very peaceful place and gave an insight into his life. He is a national hero. It was interesting that there was not a tacky giftshop but only a bookshop. Great books which enable you to be more informed.

This is a very cool area of Havana, where Che Guevara set up headquarters. It overlooks the harbour and the city of Havana, so you get a really cool view of the city.

Speaking English essential for an explanation of the time Che lived in this house overlooking the harbor. Great view of Havana and lots of photo archives. Also got to see impressive paintings from an art competition honoring Che.

Our taxi driver took us there. We were so emotional to learn more in details about Che's history. It is a paradise for photographers. The mature ladies that run the place have dedicated their lives to keep history alive. Be humble and respectful of the place and the staff. Everyone speak their thruth. We visited this site back in December... More

Dating back to the end of the 2nd half of the 18th century, La Cabaña Fort was the largest fortification built by the Spanish in Latin America. It served as Che Guevaras headquarters in 1959. You can still see where his office was and there are several other rooms dedicated to totally different themes like Art and colonial memorabilia...

This is an interesting house. Does not impart much about Ché, AKA Ernie Lynch, (Wiki it) who appears to have been a divisive figure. Read both sides of the story before you buy the t-shirt, post card, sticker, photo. Humberto Fontova for a less idolising view.

I found La Cabana by chance while visiting the statue and entered, seeing no evidence of any entry fee. While inside, I was asked for 6 CUC without evidence that this was the charge and which was then pocketed. I asked for a ticket to prevent possible personal gain but was not given one. While the house is of interest... More

We visited a few places in Casa Blanca one morning & this was one of them. Plenty of military men were gardening the morning we went & there was a little hut in front of it taking money. I'm not sure what was inside, but we were happy to say we'd seen it & been there from the outside. Quickest... More
