This time we were really surprised by the silence and desertedness of Armory Square. There is a not bad fort museum on it, which we have already visited and I wrote about it before. On the square itself they impromptu sell paintings, crafts and everything that could somehow interest a tourist and make him fork out money. Previously there was a good cafe, but this time we didn’t find it. We came to see the small chapel of El Templeto, alas, it was closed, as was the entrance gate to the courtyard, where the Ceiba tree, magical for all Cubans, stands. The old one was destroyed by a strong hurricane, but a new one has already been planted. It grows and makes you happy.

It is an absolute must if you visit Havana.
The buildings are well restaured, you realy get a good idea what this city must have looked like in the pirats era.
Have a look inside the small church in the garden. The wall paintings depict an interesting story.
The little fortress can be visited, I didin't becaus I was in the city for only a day and there is much more to discover.

well, well this is my third visit to havana city and I am happy to say that I have had a wonderful time in this beautifull place and most of this great experience is due to havanatours.nl travel agency who provided us with an excellent service during our stay there; humble, smiling and profesional staff always happy to scort us on our trips through the city either on a bike, on foot or in amazing road trips in the most efficient and fancy american old fashion cars I have ever seen, visiting places with a lot of history and dipping into the real Cuban culture all over the city. I just have to say thanks a lot for the amazing time you gave us and that I hope once I come back you will be there still to show us more from this beautiful country.

This is an interesting location, although the park itself could be considered just average, it is smack in the middle of many interesting locations. For example, it has the mayor’s house on one side with a wood block street with an interesting backstory. There is also the naval museum on another side, and the pantheon, which is one of the first churches in Havana. Lots of activities such as minstrels also. From here, you can access the Malecon as well as other notable landmarks nearby. It is a must go to location When visiting Havana.

Loved this plaza? Always full of people, lots of food and street snack vendors. Buskers. Beautiful park with plenty of seats to take a green break.. parque cespedez. And of course the magnificent and important buildings around it. Built in the 1920s...
The governors house museum is definitely worth a tour.

Rather a park than a place. A very quiet, small and nice place to visit, take advantage from the shadow of big trees under the hot Cuban sun. All the tourist tours are passing through this place.

This is where Havana was founded and governed by the Spanish. It is the main Arms Square like in many Spanish colonial cities in Latin America. The Captain General’s residence is here, now as the beautiful city museum. The fortress is at the side. There is a nice park with trees in the middle. There are street sellers selling books, posters and antiques. The beautiful Santa Isabel Hotel is also located here.
Not to be missed.

Cute area to walk around with trees for shade and little parks. It was relatively clean in this area. Buskers were playing music, but were not aggressive. Great views.

Originally founded in 1519. In colonial times, the square was the site of military parades, musical concerts and formal evening promenades. It is surrounded by buildings spanning four centuries.
In the center of the square is Parque Cespedes, a shady area with royal palms.

Hello!
I was wondering if you have available 2 separate rooms with private bathrooms for our stay in Trinidad for 1 night from 31 August to 1 September. Dates are variable, so if during mentioned period you are busy, then maybe you can suggest other dates for 1 night in your casa?
Thank you in advance
