Fantastic experience and show
Mar 2020
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. This was a fantastic night. Very professional. World class. Equivalent to Moulin Rouge Paris... but Caribbean style. So many dancers, musicians, a live band, amazing costumes. We got a classic car ride out there for $20 each way... that's just how much it is.. it's about 20 minutes outside of old Havana. The drivers are use daily to it and wait for yiu and spot yiu when you come out after te show.

The show was amazing. Fun and full on. Yiu get a cigar and bottle of Havana club between two of yiu and two mixers in arrival plus a glass of champaign each. The drinks were reasonable priced throughout the show.

We had some tall people in front of us so let the staff know we couldn't see clearly and they took us up a level and said pick a seat. So good.

Highly recommend paying out for this... amazing night

A must see show.
Feb 2020
This is one of the best shows I have seen and I have seen many all over the world. I visited Cuba the first time in 2006 especially to see the Tropicana show I heard so much about. I was greatly rewarded.sitting under the stars seeing colourful dancers among the trees, it was spectacular.I loved it so much I went back in 2012 and 2016.. My partner, Chuck, and I had great seats. In 2006 the women got carnations and the men got cigars.along with the usual rum, coke and nibbles. . Chuck was taken on stage to dance with. the ladies. He was smiling from ear to ear. Loved it. will see it again. .

Spectacular!
Mar 2020
This is considered the show ”to see” in Havana and it is a spectacular. We had dinner at their Los Jardines Restaurant and it was excellent, served beautifully and with friendly, professional service.

The Las Vegas type show is spectacular with performances going on on different levels. It is hard to take everything in at once.

Upon entering, women are given a flower and men a cigar. If you are allergic to smoke, this might not be a good venue for you.

Once the show starts, sparkling wine, soft drinks and a bottle of rum between 4 people is included, as well as individual portions of snacks. If you don’t drink, a soft drink or water can be substituted.

Drinks are on you own during the pre-show - 7 CUC for coctails; 3 CUC for soft drinks or water.

After the show, you can take photos with the performers.

JUST HAD TO GO!
Mar 2020
Well, you can't go to Havana and not go to the famous Tropicana can you? A trip out in a 1952 Plymouth (and collected later) buy the medium cost seats (I think 85 cucs) and DON'T eat there! The free 'champagne' was like fizzy dishwater and the extraordinary show is actually quite tacky. But heh? It's the Tropicana - you just have to go don't you?

A lot of fun!
Feb 2020
Me and my partner took the VIP option and found ourselves seated right next to the stage, but at the end of a table with 6 strangers. There was a table completely unused and when asked to move the staff told us that a group would soon be arriving to occupy the table. That wasn't true however given our experience of Havana up until that point, being told another little fib wasn't a great surprise. It was a shame as we had paid a lot of money for the VIP seating and our view was obstructed by the other people there.

But anyway. The show was spectacular. Great costumes and colours and dancing. It was interesting to discover that the choreography has remained unchanged for 80 years! Definitely worth a visit. I was pulled up on stage with the dancers which was great fun. For the VIP ticket me and my partner received half a bottle of rum, two glasses of champagne (great news for me as my partner doesn't drink) and 2 cans of Cuban brand coke. We were also supplied with a few nibbles. Can't complain.

Far too expensive
Feb 2020
We were in a tour group of 26 and we had to pay 90 CUCS each that is about £90 in our money. We had a cheap bottle of 3 year old rum between 4 of us on a table and the show was two hours of dancing around in different coloured dresses and outfits. After about 50 minutes we were all bored to death with it. There was one special act two guys balancing on each other and that was at the very end. we all thought we had been ripped off. The right price was about 25 CUCs, and it should have been on for an hour. Thank god we will never go again. They make a lot of profit from this show. But Cuba itself was very interesting

Colourful musical show
Feb 2020
The dancing, music and colour of this spectacle were amazing. We paid extra for premium seats and had a great view. We did not eat here. We were given a glass of sparkling wine before the show and a bottle of rum, most of which we took away for drinking during the rest of the holiday.
The standard of dancing was great from both men and women dancers but it does feel somewhat retro. It does reflect a past era in Havana I think - but still worth the trip.
