It's an impressive view. We spent there more than 1hour sunbathing and swimming in the shallow water and admiring the waves splashing into the rocks. It's a black sand little beach and it's fantastic!

This is a lovely little cove in Washington Park. It's on the long route in the park but well worth the drive. Bring snacks and water.

The title says it all. Located on the long route this spot gives you perfect visibility of the roughness and calmness of Caribbean ocean. Just sit down in the water and enjoy.

The boka is very scenic, peaceful and lovely place to spend some time.
We cooled off at the protected part near the pools, no other people around, just the waves beating to the walls of pools.

Dramatic scenery don’t miss it. The waves are great to watch coming in and a short walk from where you can park. The coast line takes your breath away. Check it out.

Stopped by here on drive around the park. Nice for photo bugs who want shots of the sea amid rough crags of the land.

Beautiful beach best enjoyed from a distance so no swimming. I always love to watch and hear the sound of the waves.

There's a convenient set of stairs leading down to the sandy beach, where you can watch the impressive waves roll in. At the back of the beach there are tide pools where you can relax and cool off without worrying about waves. There is extensive fossilized coral and shells that make up the walls of the beach -something the kids would certainly enjoy.

This is one of the many potential spots you can stop at in the national park. Bring leather soled shoes as the beach is a mix of sand and volcanic rock.

Hi, How far from the cruise ship pier is this beach? Are there any facilities here? Thanks, Chris
Written June 13, 2017
Hi Chris - this "beach" is located in the north of the bonairianian National Park. By rental car it may take about 2 hours to go there - but You better plan a complete day from 10am - 5pm, so that You can spend all day in that park with many more "to see before You die"...
By the way - the Cocolishi Bay is pur magic. To have been on Bonaire and not felt the preternatural of this place is a no go.
Facilities ?? Do You really need to pollute nature like this?
