What a wonderful shop to pick up some authentic Bonaire salt. They had salt for cooking and also salts for personal care. Very reasonable prices but if you are carrying the salts through TSA, be prepared for them to check them individually. They also had other cute items like ornaments and decorations.

Shop was much smaller than anticipated from description, but had some products. Friend bought several of the small salt grinders to take back to family. Stock was low but likely due to hardly any tourists on island. I wish they had some free samples of salt rocks but they were out.

Great meeting and talking with Mr. Salt Man. Very knowledgeable about salt and the history of Bonaire. The shop is a great place to visit to pick up a souvenir or some salt. Free WiFi. The shop is also reasonably priced. We enjoyed our visit.

This was my second time visiting the shop. Previously, I purchased salt scrub at the market, but was searched thoroughly (including pat down) for the small bags of crystals in my luggage.

This time, I decided to purchase salt scrub in oil from the Salt Shop. I wish I had taken more care in packing. While I have been very happy with my previous purchases, this time, the oil leaked from the scrub containers and spoiled the boxes of salt I purchased as souvenirs. To make it worse, the oil managed to escape the plastic bag everything was wrapped in and stained the interior of my luggage.

My friend had the same experience with her purchase.

I wish I had thought to wrap the salt scrub separately, in a zip lock bag, and double-bag the whole thing. I hope my experience will assist others. Please visit this very lovely store.

I enjoyed the salt products available at Saltshop Bonaire. Learning about some of the history regarding the salt industry in Bonaire was pretty cool. Since returning home, the products I purchased including the rock salt and bath salts have been nice. I like the idea of buying local and that’s a real attraction in Bonaire. The service lady could be a bit nicer, but I think it may have also been a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, I highly recommend a visit to the Saltshop Bonaire!

A nice shop to buy souvenirs which are practical because you can use some of them in the kitchen or in your bathtub or skin. My personal favorite is the salt grinder in a box with a flamingo on it. I bought 4 pcs. But I have to go back to buy one for myself! We also got a small tour of the lady of the shop. She told us what kind of different products they have. I also bought some smaller souvenirs; the salt pyramids. The reason for selling these salt souvenirs is of course the natural salt winning on the island.

This is my eighth year visiting Bonaire and I always go to the Saltshop. The owner is very personable and takes pride in running a stylish clean shop. The different salts are the perfect gift plus it's made on Bonaire. Don't miss one of the best shops on the island!

Mr. Saltman runs a shop that features all the perfect souvenirs for Bonaire’s main export, sea salt. Conveniently located in town, a short walk from the Cruise Dock. Stop in for sure!
