Clearbottom Mangrove Kayak & Snorkel tour

79 reviews
Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. Your stable, glass bottom sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters.

The glass bottom kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels.

Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. The snorkel location offers a great variety of marine life and is considered by many a must-do while visiting Bonaire!

We visited Bonaire from a cruise. It is a wonderful island, the locals are so friendly. The craft market is very close to the cruise port and allows for a lovely stroll around the stalls. The people aren’t pushy or trying to sell, they sell lovely local and handcrafted things, perfect things to take home as a holiday gift. I got a henna tattoo and it was lovely. The lady is so so genuine and lovely. Not only did I enjoy conversation with her but she’s also very talented! A great way to remember the holiday for a little longer :) Thank you Bonaire!

Take your time to wander through the market and see all the local artisans. Their crafts are beautiful and well done. The market is across the road from the promanade along the ocean front. A beautiful experience. They have public washrooms that are clean and just off the market with directional signs to guide you. Everyone was so friendly.

Stop by to see Karchan, a lovely henna and jagua artist. She did beautiful jagua art on all four members of our family during our visit to Bonaire. A fun souvenir and she is such a nice person to talk to!

I visited the absolutely beautiful island of Bonaire.i t was my first visit. The first impression from my balcony was breathtaking, it reminded me of a Hans ChristianAnderson story. I stayed on the pier in their arts and craft market..And found the people very friendly. No harrassment. Nice items to see and buy if you were interested.. Had a beer in a cafe called Cuba Compagne. Buy a drink and you are eligible for free WiFi. I understand from fellow cruisers that the beaches were beautiful. Willl definitely visit again...

Called here on cruise liner. Loads of arts and crafts plus local delicacies on offer. The silver jewellery is just lovely. The traders are extremely friendly and helpful and not at all pushy.
