A day to remember

My son, wife and I took a Segway Tour with Segway Bonaire. We emailed the owner of the company a week before our cruise was to arrive Bonaire to schedule the tour. The owner emailed me back within hours and we were able to schedule the tour. We got off the cruise ship and was met by the owner at the end of the pier. He took us in an air conditioned van to the starting point where we were giving a safety briefing on the Segway. We were each given a bottle of water before the tour began, which was needed because it was a very hot day. The tour was very informative and we had a blast. We made several stops during the tour and was told about the history of the island. Most of our trip was off road and most of the time the Segway was easy to maneuver. The owner took several photos while we were on the tour and will email the photos to us in a few weeks. The company is family owned and they are great people. I will recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to have a great time in Bonaire.

Awesome Segway Experience

We booked the excursion through Royal Caribbean Cruises. It was our first time riding Segway's. The transfers were quick and easy. They provided a safety educational prior to departure. The business is family owned and everyone was very friendly and fun. We toured beautiful Bonaire, with a small group of ten people. At the three different stops, our knowledgeable guide spoke about the attractions. I would highly recommend this tour, it was our favorite excursion with our last tour!

Great time!

We booked in conjunction with a cruise. We were met at the dock and driven to the starting point where the group was individually shown how to use the Segway. Even though it does not take long to become proficient, they stayed with each person until satisfied we could operate safely. We have done Segway tours in many ports in the Caribbean and Europe, so I feel we have a good background for comparison. The guides were very informative and friendly. At the end of the tour, refreshments were served and we were driven back to the ship. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Segway Bonaire! "What a Great Experience"

Touring using a Segway on Bonaire was a really neat experience. For those who fear don't. Training is provided and its great. Any age you can still do it. We travelled across an old sea bed as first timers and we had no problems at all. The owner/operator of the tour picked us up from the ship and took us to our starting point then he trained each one individually until we were comfortable handling the extremely well maintained equipment. If you have never been on a Segway before go for it as Safety comes first here. What a blast! The treasures we received from our guides will not be forgotten. Thanks to both of you for a really great time.

Best time ever

We just returned from our Carnival Cruise with our stop in Bonaire. I found Fun and Roll Segway Tours by searching the internet, looking for an alternative to the expensive excursions offered by the cruise line.Riding a segway was on my bucket list. Afterall, you can snorkle just so much. I am sooooo glad we gave this company a try. The couple running the business are truly kind and generous and made this a fun fun day. We were the only ones from the ship taking this tour, and we had personal 1:1 service all the way. To find the company, exit from the cruise ship and turn left....you will see cabana's with all the locals offering tours and activities outside the cruise ship excursions. We did the shorter tour, and it did not disappoint. Afterwards, we wanted to go to the beach, so they brought us back to the plaza beach resort to spend the rest of the day. They even offered to pick us up at any time and return us to the ship. We were also served a bottle of water and a soda. The segways were super nice and well maintained. Thank you Ian and Kaya for such a wonderful day. We will definitely be returning the next time we come to Bonaire.

Great experience!!

Thanks for the great experience. Roll on the Segway is by far THE best way to discover Bonaire.
They take you alond the west-coast and saltpier, one of the best spots of Bonaire. Along the way there is plenty of time to take beatifull pictures and if you're lucky you will see flamingo's.
Guys thanks again for the great tour, deffenetly come back for some more!!

One of the absolute best excursions in the Southern Caribbean

This is the third time I have done this excursion. Each time it gets better. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about Bonaire. Don’t be afraid to try a Segway it is super easy to learn and they provide excellent training. The scenery is truly unique and amazing. They do an excellent job of explaining the history from the days of slavery till today. After the riding is completed they offer soda & beer. There is a bottle of water awaiting you when you are assigned your Segway. If your itinerary includes Bonair book it as soon as you can as it fills up quickly.

Fun and Roll in Bonaire!!

A great Segway tour given by Jan, who together with his wife Thonia make an unbeatable team. Picked us up, took us to see the slavehouses, taught us about the salt crystallization process and about the history of the island overall. Went to see the kitesurfers and learned about the sport and the nearby flamingo preserve (which is not open to public). Jan was professional and great company both, with a relaxed attitude and a desire to show us what he loved about the island. Even though we forgot a helmet, had a tumble (due to our carelessness) and left our car key in the bag of the Segway, he retrieved the helmet and returned the car key with a smile. Great customer service and a really fun activity in Bonaire!!

Fun Fun Fun!

Loved segway tour with Yun. Takes just your family so he can give you extra attention. Very knowledgeable and lively guide. Beautiful vistas and the salt mines, slave huts, etc are quite interesting to learn about. Very sweet couple owned and operated little company that goes out of their way to please with free cookie and soda snacks, pickup and drop off included and friendly conversation.

Great fun and informative Segway tour

We were very excited as this was our first time on a Segway. The very friendly owner, Jan, picked us up right on time at our hotel and had the Segways in the back, ready to roll. It was just the 3 og us, so we enjoyed a private tour.

We went om the Slave hut and salt lakes tour, and really loved it! Great scenery, a flat road with not many cars, and a few Flamingoes along the way. We did some basic skill training on the Segway on the parking area before we cruised along the road between the pink salt lakes and the blue ocean. We made a couple of foto-stops and Jan told us about the salt lakes, the reef around Bonaire, the Flamingoes, the slaves and many other interesting things. After we were finished driving the Segways, we took a drive further south and along the coast up to Sorebon. On this drive we saw hundreds of Flamingoes in the distanse, and a few close to the road.

Jan is very friendly and knowledgable, and a great guide. My wife and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try Segway in a beautiful place with a lot of interesting information as an added bonus.
