The crew was awesome. The destination beautiful. Climbing in and out was different, but I’m 75 and wife is 73 and we managed without any problems. I was impressed how the young captain cleaned all the snorkels and masks in soapy water and brushes afterwards getting ready for the next group. Recommended.…

First time sailing on a Thai junk. First time snorkeling. Fun and entertaining captain and crew took us on a historical journey from the junk's origins until now while sailing us to Klein Bonaire, one of the best places to snorkel, so I'm told. They were very understanding of this being my first time snorkeling, and with my friend's encouragement and their attention to me, I was able to do a drift snorkel! (let us off down the beach, and we floated/flippered back to the beginning) Do this!!…

We did the Samur sail and snorkel as an excursion with Oceania. We really enjoyed it! Sailing on a Thai junk was a novel experience. The crew were all terrific...very helpful and experienced. Getting on and off the Samur from the little Zodiac was fairiy easy with the crew's help. We are experienced snorkelers, but we chose to snorkel from the beach. Fabulous snorkeling...so many beautiful fish, including some I hadn't seen before. (Bonaire is known for its snorkeling and diving.) You can snorkel out to where the reef drops off sharply. Highly recommend this tour. It is a nice change from the ubiquitous catamaran excursions. Fruit and fruit punch are served before you get in the water, and run punch on the way back.…

We booked this excursion during our cruise and have to say it was one of the best excursions we have done. The crew were amazing and we were well looked after. The snorkelling was great fun, would recommend the drift snorkel along the coast. There was plenty of time on shore to enjoy the beautiful beach and the underwater life on Klein Bonaire. Lovely refreshments served on board this beautiful boat.…

Thoroughly enjoyable excursion. As old as I am, I’d never been snorkeling before and the experience fun and easy with the Samur group. I see some concern about getting on and off the boat but didn’t find it difficult. Just to snorkel you are going to have to get in and out of a zodiac, the boat was no different. And the boat! A Chinese junk, red sail and all. The trip was full but well staffed. Everyone seemed to know what to do and how to help the guests. The equipment was in good shape. They took us out to Klein Bonaire for our adventure. I would do it again. …
