We took the Caribe watertaxi to Klein Bonaire, with a drop off at No Name Beach for our bags, and a drop of for ourselves at the south end of the island to do a drift-snorkel. It is really good value for money, snorkelling along the coast of Klein Bonaire is excellent, possibly the best of Bonaire. You can do a guided snorkelling tour of you have no experience with snorkelling (for example Woodwind would be good for that), but if you know how to use a snorkel you are better off with the watertaxi. You can snorkel at your own pace, without other people getting in your way. And the watertaxi picks you up later from no name beach. The people from Caribe are professional, friendly, and can give you a lot of background information about the fish and corals you see. We used Caribe before, but today it was extremely quiet, partly because of the travel restrictions, and partly because of the rain. It did rain, but that didn't have a negative impact on the snorkelling experience. Just pack a towel in a waterproof bag (e.g. binbag), and you are good to go. The water today was still very clear, and the light probably even better due to the overcast (nice diffuse light, just look at our photos). I was a little worried that there would be a thunderstorm, making it unsafe, but our captain Boy assured us that he would keep track of the weather, and in case of lightning he would be there in a couple of minutes to pick us up. That was enough assurance for me to feel safe, and enjoy the underwater landscapes.

We first visited Bonaire in December 2019 on the Carnival Sunshine, and after reading many reviews, decided that a trip to Klein Bonaire was a must. Caribe Watersport came highly recommended, and their water taxi service was amazing. An easy walk from the ship, super clear directions, expert guidance from Boy on where to swim, where to snorkel, and insights on the island. We returned to Bonaire in February 2020 and again used Caribe Watersport as our transport to and from Klein Bonaire. Affordable, professional, and knowledgeable... love it!! ~Jay

We took the snorkel trip to Klein Bonaire which was guided by "Boy". He did a great job with all the passengers taking into account their various levels of experience and different languages. We did two drift snorkels at different sites around the island. Boy pointed out several different fish and animals that might have gone unobserved by most of the 12 person group. The duration of the trip, approximately 2.5 hours, was just about right considering the makeup of the group. This guided snorkel tour was a great way to experience the reef surrounding Klein Bonaire and deserves a well earned Excellent rating.

My favorite beach and by far the best thing to do in Bonaire! Very convenient to the cruise ships and very flexible times in both directions.
