We are some novice sailors and snorkelers visiting Bonaire on a cruise stop. We wanted to do something special and a bit more private, so two couples chartered a small sail boat for a snorekeling trip. We had a wonderful time with Walter and Annabelle. They sailed us expertly to a quiet spot and we had a wonderful snorkeling visit. They were excellent hosts. We had a nice lunch of some sandwiches and fruit. We even had a bottle of prosecco. It was a very special day.…

Every year when we visit Bonaire, we eagerly anticipate The Sunset Sail on The Blue Bays Bowalie! Walter & Lizeth are experienced sailors who assure a safe & enjoyable sail. With Walters navigation & Lizeths gracious hospitality, just sit back and relax. The beautiful sunset and lovely tropical breeze are not to be missed. We sailed with Walter for the second time and went for the sunset/dinner cruise instead of a shorter cruise. The Crew and Walter's tour guide mode were as good as our first trip but the addition of dinner aboard was tremendous! Very simple meal, but delicious - we ate everything they brought!! We will definitely sail with Walter next trip maybe we can even beat him to a few of his standby jokes just for fun!!…

We booked this for our last afternoon/evening in Bonaire, as we couldn't dive the afternoon before our flight. There were a total of 10 guests and 3 crew members on the sailboat. It was wonderful! We sailed to the south from the Harbor Marina, down to about the Salt Pier, and then headed back north to the Andrea 1/2 dive/snorkel sites. The crew made sure we had any drinks we desired while we were sailing. After we snorkeled, we stayed at the dive site and the grill was fired up. We were offered sliced Italian bread with flavored butter or brie cheese, Caprese salad and a salad with greens, potatoes, peppers, etc... Captain Walter first grilled up beef tenderloins, followed by chicken and sausages, and finally shrimp. It was all delicious! Then we went under sail to go back south and watch the sunset closer to Klein Bonaire. It was a perfect ending to our first trip to Bonaire! And we plan to sail with Blue Bay again on our next trip.…
