Luckily, the villa we rented was just a short walk from Bari reef. We rented a small boat and went from yellow marker to yellow marker to tie down and jumped in to snorkel. We even made it to Klein Bonaire. The north side of that island is the best for diving and snorkel with a quick shelf drop off.

Bari Reef is the house reef for Den Laman and Sand Dollar condos, and Dive Friends Bonaire at that location. If you stay in one of the condo units, you can use the very convenient pier and pick up your tanks right there. If you are staying elsewhere, you can access the reef from the parking lot just south of Den Laman. Bari is a beautiful reef heading north toward Buddy Dive. It has great coral and a plethora of reef fish and creatures. According to the Reef fish survey, it has the most diversity of any site in the Caribbean region. I never tire of the dives there, day or night.

We stayed at Sand Dollar Condo's so Bari was literally right outside our back door, but what a great reef to be in such a convenient location. There was easy entry and exit through Dive Friends Bonaire, but you can also enter from the beach in front of Den Laman. DFB has both Nitrox and Air tanks available on the dock for their customers. Bari is a great reef with a very short surface swim and plenty to look at. The reef extends from about 25 ft to about 100 ft and is a nice sloping wall. Because of it's ease and location, we dove Bari 4-5 times on our last trip! We saw turtles, barracuda and eels on nearly every dive, along with the resident frog fish. We interacted with several Porcupine fish that were very curious and saw a pretty diverse fish population. On 2 dives there was an octopus in the shallow areas down from the Den Laman beach (8-9 ft deep), there are also several rows of coral in the shallow that are home to numerous juvenile/baby fish, anemones, lettuce leafs and fireworms. This is definitely a must dive site on Bonaire.

this was our last snorkel site in Bonaire, compare to other sites that we went to, such as Karpata, 1000 steps, Andrea I, Lac Bay, this Bari Reef site is not for snorkeling, but for diving, the see bottom get deap very quickly. If you snorkel, the only interesting thing is under the dock where divers put on their equipment. There are a lot of fishes under the dock or around the dock. You can walk to Bari reef from town beside the sea, once you see a white 3 floor building block the way, then walk on the rode inside, keep walking, pass water taxi sign, pass eden beach sign, under you see a traffic circle on the road, then turn to the sea, bari reef is there. It is about 30 min walk from town, not big deal for adult, but hard for little kid especially when it is hot and sunny.

Bari Reef is such an amazing underwater scene. Watch the fish slow down and turn an amazing color to let the cleaners know it's time to get the gills cleaned. 4'O'clock the parrot fish surround themselves with mucus to hide for the night. 5'Oclock the octopus free swim from their daytime hiding places and go to the open ocean. Tarpon, although you can see them all during the day, be prepared to have them swim with you at night to feed on the squirrel fish.

We recently dove Bari’s. Parking and water entry were very easy. Incredible variety of aquatic life. It is definitely a dive site you don’t want to miss. Frog fish, scorpion fish, tarpon, fire worms, anemone shrimp to mention a few sightings.

Best place we found for safe and easy snorkeling with NO waves or current. Pay a $10 fee for a day pass and you can use all their facilities, which are many: Big, beautiful pool, comfy lounge chairs with plenty of shade, beautiful grounds, 2 good restaurants, but the main attraction is easy water entry and excellent snorkeling. Almost no coral, but the fish are abundant and they're all around the stone jetty, right by the shore.

Bari reef is hidden within Sand Dollar Condo Village and Dan LeMan resort. Find it and you will enjoy an easy entry beach, plenty of gorgeous sunsets, and very good snorkeling and diving experiences. Plenty of fish - reefs are re-establishing themselves after hurricanes. Try the restaurant adjacent to Bari Reef; Breezes and Bites - the server Zucre is delightful, the food and drink is good, and the sunsets are fantastic.

This reef used to be the town dump decades ago but is now a very diverse reef where you can see a variety of cratures such as a seahorse, frogfish, queen trigger fish, stingrays, turtles, etc. It's a short swim from the Bonaire Dive and Adventures to the reef. We dove there several times over the course of a week and saw different things each time. This reef is right in front of the Sand Dollar and Den Lamon Condominiums.

My husband and kids went diving to celebrate my husbands recovery from a stem cell transplant. If you are diving after chemo please use nitrogen mix. The island was beautiful and I loved my kayaking in the mangroves with my son and son-in-law. Our guide Pete i think was absolutely amazing. the food was outstanding at several resterants and the grocery store wonderful. Amust at least once in a life time
