Very well managed marine park - and it works!

The reefs surrounding Bonaire are protected since long ago, by Stinapa. These guys do a very good job. Nowhere in the world (and we have been to a lot of reefs, marine park or not) the rules protecting the reefs are so clearly communicated and so excplicitly managed, by dive guides and dive centers. Even divers amongst each other remind... More

It is quite hot and dusty. But the best views and snorkeling on the whole island. Bring lots of water and make sure to load up with sunscreen. If you are planning on driving through the park, make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

This is by far the best diving and one of the healthiest reefs I have seen in the Caribbean. There are no big things though like sharks, not too many rays, not too many great barracudas. Maybe it was bad luck but over the span of a month and 30+ dives (with students) we did not see a single ray... More

Did 15 dives with Captain Dons, none were disappointing and all were unique. Be sure to hit Klein Bonaire, really clear water and saw seahourses

The Marine Park surrounds the entire island. If you are looking for wonderful snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing - you will be pleased with this choice.

This is one of the most incredible places to dive in the world. Everyday we were here the water was about 50-75ft visibility. The water temp was about 84-82 every day. It's a small island with about 100+ dive sites on it. Most of the sites are shore dives with easy entry into a rapid shelved shore. There is an... More

It has been 10 years since my last visit and everything looks great, keep up the great work! The corals look healthy, lots of new growth, lots of fish everywhere and baby fish are abundant as well.

Make sure your gas tank is full. It's a beautiful park and an adventure. Great diving with a little swimming. Try and find the sunken cannons

They call it Divers Paradise for a reason... The reefs here have been protected since the 70s, so the coral is healthy and the critters plentiful - colorful tropicals, eels, shrimp, squid, sea slugs, crabs, etc. Be sure to get your Marine Park badge prior to diving (available at any dive shop). Each dive site is marked with a painted... More

There are so many incredible dive sites in the Bonaire National Marine Park, it truly is one of the best diving vacation spot in the world. You have to get a park pass before you enter the water, you can get it from any of the many dive shops on the island. $25 tag is good for the calendar year... More
