The last time I dove Bonaire was in 1985, so I was a bit concerned about what I'd find. Well, the reef is still incredibly healthy with lots of hard and some soft corals. The diving was overall current free, and we saw nice fish life. Water in August was right about 82F and I was comfy in my full... More

My fiance and I went to Bonaire in January 2016. I love to snorkle aand he never tried so he wanted to try for me. He was extatic and fell in love with it. The beaches are utterly clean, the sea life is amazing. Not all of the beaches are good for snorkling but if you talk with somebody in... More

we snorkeled at many spots in bonaire: resort piers, several gorgeous beachs, a boat excursion to the small island nearby. every site offered amazing coral & an incredible array of marine life. bonaire seems more than worthy of its international renown as a paradise for scuba diving & snorkeling.

It's a pretty good drive through Rincon to get up to the park, but it's worth it. Especially if you've never been there before; it's definitely worth seeing. It's beautiful in and of itself, but there are also a few dive spots up there as well. When we visit it the park, it's usually on our off-gas day before we... More

Have been visiting Bonaire since 1991; remarkable for Cap'n Dons efforts in the sixties for making the lee side en toto a national park, preserve. The facilities, particularly food shopping are greatly improved, and the population (12,500 in 91) about 19,600 in 2016 is not crowded. Only one KFC and Subway for fast food folks though!

Any hard core diver will visit Bonaire at some time or another, because it has the most shore diving in the Caribbean. The reefs are pristine and teeming with life (Bonaire knows where its tourist dollars come from). In fact, there is really nothing else to do on Bonaire unless you are a kite or windsurfer. If you are going... More

If you only have the ability to dive on one island, Bonaire is the place to do it. Easily accessible with a taxi. A family can go on a snorkeling excursion without going broke also. We saw tons of fish, turtles and more. Best part of a seven day cruise. Easy for different activity levels also

The diving in Bonaire is what one has come to expect of Caribbean diving, with the typical cast of characters inhabiting the reefs and sand. A healthy mixture of shore diving and boat diving provides a dive location that is accessible to beginners and still interesting for those with a few more dives under their belts. The island itself offers... More

Like snorkeling or diving? The place to be. Specially when you are not in to crowded places. No high buildings! No traffic lights! No rush! Best of the Antilles!
