5 minutes, in town center

From the cruise ship it looked like a kids park. Up close, it's a small fort. Quiet inside. Not much to see. Views aren't the best with the freight ships loading and unloading.

We were all excited to go visit "the fort" but there's really nothing to see inside - just the walls - though we did see some pretty parakeets in the tree!

While you are in town, go by and see the fort and the light house. I love history so I just couldn't pass this.

This fort stands proud at the port where all cruise ships dock. It is Just another one of the well kept building in the capital and let's you know you are at the main port of Bonaire. Not not more about it really.

We walked by on our way back to our cruise ship. Very close to the dock. Easy walking; less than two blocks.

it's a small site in the middle of town. a couple of plaques, couple of canons and a bit of a higher viewpoint from which to take photos.

Not much here. The fort is very small. But if you're wander the town, it's worth stopping at. Not a destination itself.

I almost walked right past this building but stopped because I saw the name Wilhemina. There is not much here: a watch tower, cannons. Worth a quick stop.

I'm not sure if I missed something about this monument, but there really wasn't much to it. From what I could tell, you couldn't go inside at all, you could just walk around the outside. It was cool to see and I love learning about the history of the places I travel, but it's more of a walk-by while you're... More

Fort Oranje is right outside the cruise ship port and an easy walk. It is small but worth looking at. The tower and cannons are nice.
