Your kite experience starts from our trimaran located in the Bay of Kralendijk. We tailor all lessons based on what you wish to learn and how comfortable you feel. It's your lesson! You are the one who's here to have a great time and we are here to share our passion with you and help you improve your skills. When you're ready, we'll go in the water!

Classes are personalized, the whole experience is catered to your needs, the staff is amazing.
Had three lessons, each day that went by I saw a huge improvement. First lesson I was in the water feeling the pull of the kite! By the third lesson I was already on the board kite surfing.
they also offer tailored snorkeling/sailing trips, which I took advantage of and went with my family! Amazing plan.
Will definitely be coming back!

Since Nov-17 I’m addicted to Kitesurfing. What a great experience I had with Chogogo Kite in Bonaire!!
Chogogo Kite is located in the bay of Kralendijk on a Kiteplatform. A perfect spot to learn to Kite but also a nice spot to start with your Kite session if you are an experienced Kiter.
The real advantage of the Kiteplatform is that you get real one-on-one Kite lessons with no distraction whatsoever. You immediately get to understand and, most importantly, get to feel what a Kite is and does. With the great teaching skills, support and encouragement of Gerrie I was able to learn to Kite in only a couple of lessons!! Very nice.
Lessons are adjusted to your own level and progress. What I liked is that there’s no pressure: you are teached to Kite in your own pace, no time pressure, no group pressure. Really great!
I highly recommend Chogogo Kite! It was one of the best experiences I had on the water and thanks to Gerrie and his team I’m now addicted to Kitesurfing!

The school is located opposite coco beach en they teach you from a platform in the water.
All the attention during the lesson is for you because it’s only you and a teacher there.....so no distraction!
Great school, great location. Definitely a recommendation.

I just finished taking three lessons with Gerrie and Karen - it exceded my expectations. First of all they are one-on-one lessons where you get the instructor's full attention through the entire learning process. The lessons are very well structured in order to make sure that you understand every aspect of the kite, the wind and the board - structured in a way that is not only safe but also fun! Lastly, it is a very friendly and comfortable environment, Gerrie is friendly and very out going which for me made everything much easier. If you are looking for a non-commercialized kiting experience in the best location of the island with one-on-one lessons then do not think twice about Gerrie and Chogogo Kite

I was living in Bonaire for few weeks and I decided to try kitesurfing. I hadn't previous experience with board sports or wind sports. However, Ger (the owner and instructor) explained me everything before starting and motivated me to get in touch with this special and amazing sport.
He is teaching from a paltform floating on the water. This is great to learn how to stir up the kite from the water and to avoid accidents which could occur on the beach.
They teach one by one, which helped me to become confident in a sport which is different than others and Ger makes sure you are enjoying each of the steps you need to pass through. Karen, another member of the company, was also helping in my first contact with the water and this was an added positive point to get confidence.
The price was totally reasonable and not expensive considering all the attentions I received during the lessons. (an instructor with a small boat following me all the time, the material, etc).
The schedule was totally flexible and Gerrie never hesitated about using some extratime if it was needed to get the day's objective.
I would definetly choose chogogo kite again and I encourage people to try it with Ger and Karen who will not only teach you how to get introduced to this exciting and complete sport, but also make sure you don't give up when you don't really trust you can do it. Thank you Chogogo team!

Great spot and teacher to learn kitesurfing. Very personal teaching, safe, patient and very motivating. Just what I needed for my first kite lessons. This was an exceptional experience with finding out if Kitesurfing was for me. Thanks to Chogogkite !!!

We rent a boat for half a day and it was very good! The owner explained patiently how to use the boat. It was really easy, no stress! We sailed to some beautiful snorkeling spots, saw coral, fish and a turtle! We enjoyed our own picnic on board and after 4 amazing ours we sailed back to the marina where the owner helpt us to moor the boat properly.
We can definitely recommend to rent a boat from chococo!

After my wife and I (both 47 years old) had tried it on Fuerteventura once with moderate success, we were curious how it works this time. The choice fell on Chogogo, because it was close to our accommodation. The practice with the help of a platform and directly in the deep water seemed to us somewhat frightening. But, that was no topic at all. The simple initial exercises are practiced on the platform, then we go into the water. This has the advantage that you practice directly under normal conditions. A headset keeps you in contact with the trainer at all times.
We had parallel lessons with two teachers. Both are super nice, have explained and demonstrated a lot, had a lot of patience with us, were happy with us when something worked - and when it didn't work out like that, they motivated us to continue. The lessons were adapted to our previous level of performance, which led to the fact that we were already allowed into the water on the first day. With a boat we were accompanied permanently, so that we had direct help, if the kite got entangled or the air was out. It was also great that we could concentrate completely on ourselves. Otherwise there were no kitesurfers on the spot and we didn't have to pay attention to the direction or anything else. They picked us up at the end and we drove back to the platform.
It's also nice that they were very flexible and interested that we really learn something and are satisfied. On one day we didn't get along with the conditions with little wind in spite of big kites. So the two of them stopped the lessons after one hour and moved on to another day with better wind. That is certainly not self-evident!
After three times two hours of lessons we both managed to get the water start and even to ride a little bit. Great! We are looking forward to the next hours next year!

My boyfriend and I tried kite surfing w Karen and her boyfriend .. they were awesome , patient and great instructors
