Very well laid out museum with history of Bonaire and the Caribbean. Well worth $10 admission fee. Took about 1.5hrs to go through if you're reading all the descriptions of the photos and exhibits. Highly recommend!

I read about this museum prior to visiting Bonaire, and I was happy to find it while I was in the downtown area. It's a 2-story building about one block away from the water near where the cruise ships dock. It has a lot of very nice photos/artwork that gives you a detailed history of how Bonaire and the other nearby islands became so diversified. It was a good learning experience. $10 entry fee was well worth it.

I enjoyed the museum while my husband was diving one day, and am so glad I did. There is so much information packed into this tiny museum. I managed to spend over an hour there because it was so informative. Great spot to escape the heat and noise and learn a thing or two. They are very helpful if you have any questions.

This is a nice stop when visiting downtown Kralendijk! The museum is not too pricey either and they had a really nice special exhibit on local art. The museum is organized really well and the information is presented well. They have a nice mix of artifacts, pictures, and diagrams. And the museum is also air conditioned! The museum is recently renovated and the care they put into it really shows. The staff is welcoming and eager to help.

While history can be sad and tragic, Terramar did a PHENOMENAL job providing such a good historical and informative account about events in the past. The pictures also provide an amazing visual of what happened. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Pretty, small museum that has information about bonaire in the past including the arrival of the European and the slave trade.

Learned a lot on the history of the island, great guided introduction and easy to follow read-along panels. Very modern museum with the appropriate space delegated to the first nations and slave trade, please visit this museum if you would like to lesrn about how this island and its people have gone through.

Few artifacts, but very informative interpretive panels. The museum gives a good overview of the history of the island, with an emphasis on the first peoples.

Excellent self guided museum tour (clearly marked). History is accurately captured in the displays (many of which are reading and some visual displays of artifacts). Little children will not be excited about this museum, nor would teenagers unless they are history buffs. But it is a must see museum covering much of the history of the Caribbean. We enjoyed our visit VERY much. $10 for adult visitors. Worth every penny!

Amall but a good summary of the development of the islands. Great pics and artifacts. Did not expect the depth.
