Macho! Scooters offers single and two seated scooters, as well as Dutch bicycles. We provide free pickup service from your hotel to make it easier for you. For those who are interested in renting for more than one day, we offer a three day and week special. Long term renting is also possible; prices on request. Macho was quite accommodating; we used their scooters twice during our stay. Relatively easy to fill out the forms and get going right from the resort. Just make sure to check the heavy locks before you go - they are difficult to open in the humidity!

Thank you very much for your positive review! We are glad you enjoyed renting with us. Once we rent out the scooter, we check the locks, but indeed with the local conditions (humidity, salt and dust) they are sometimes a bit difficiult to open. If you notice this during your rental period, please let us know or pass by, so we can help you out by greasing, cleaning or changing the lock.

Superb service with that little bit extra. Super helpful staff, they are really friendly and go the extra mile without a second thought. It's refreshing to get such good service nowadays, when usually it's all just about raking in the money. With these guys it's all about excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

We rented scooters from Macho reserving by email online. As promised they picked us up at our hotel and checked us out on the scooters which were relatively new, worked well and came with a full tank of gas. They had helmets available for an additional small rental fee (not required on Bonaire). When we returned the scooters they drove us back to our resort. We rented the scooters for 4 days and were able to explore most of the island (not the unpaved roads). Service was great and friendly.

Thank you for your great review! I am happy to hear all went well and you enjoyed our service. In the meantime Bonaire's traffic law has changed and from august 1rst 2019 helmets are an requirement when driving a scooter on Bonaire. So whenever renting a scooter from now on, your helmet will be included in the price! We hope we may welcome you back one day!

When Avis refused to honor my car reservation, I was stuck without wheels for my stay on Bonaire. I recalled seeing people riding scooters everywhere, so I Googled “scooters near me.” Macho! was less than a Mike’s walk from the airport, so off I went. The offices are located inside the Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort — just let the entrance guard know you are there for the scooters. The second I walked in, Patrick came over and attended to me. I was able to rent a two-person scooter for several days right on the spot. Patrick brought me over to the scooter lot, gave me instruction on driving, parking, and locking the scooter, provided me with helmets for myself and my husband, and had me drive around the lot a few times to get the hang of it. It had been years — decades! — since I rode a scooter, but Patrick put my nerves at ease and soon I was off, riding along with the island traffic, driving about the roundabouts, getting lost in a residential area, and almost getting plowed into by a taxi leaving the resort we were staying at.
Patrick was even more kind about an hour or so later, when I returned to Macho! to return the scooter. My husband wanted nothing to do with scooters. He couldn’t even balance on it! He took a taxi to Avis to yell at them while I returned the scooter. Patrick was understanding and generously gave me a full refund despite my insistence to pay for the day. When I return to Bonaire — alone — I will be back to rent a scooter from Macho!

We only had a short cruise stop in Bonaire. We arranged for a double seat scooter. We were picked up near the pier and taken back to the rental office, maybe a 10 min ride. We went over all the things on the scooter and got our helmets and a map and a lock in case we stopped for awhile somewhere. Then we were off to see the flamingos! Upon returning it was a smooth transaction and we were driven back to the pier. It was a great deal and we only wish we had longer to explore.

This was my second holiday on Bonaire this year.
I rent a scooter by Macho! for like 3 weeks. The service is amazing!!
They will picked you up at the accommodation and even bring you back after the rental period.
Also you need to use a helmet on the scooter and this is including the rental price.
Next year we come back to Macho!

Thank you for your great review. Glad you liked our service! Indeed helmets are included in the rental price, since they are mandatory since August 1rst this year. As you said, pick up service can always be arranged during our office hours. We try to offer the most complete service to our customers.

Through our travel agency we could rent a car from this company. It was arranged for us, so fortunately we no longer had to do that ourselves.
Everything in order in terms of paperwork, we got the car for 24 hours. We would normally switch to an Off-Road car the next day.
We have already cancelled this as a precaution, because we did not use the car we received as a rental car.
The logo was missing from the front, sometimes the other doors did not open and malfunction lights came into the dashboard. The car was already fairly damaged.
The key that came with it had also been used several times, because you could hardly use the key anymore. For example, it was difficult to lock the car and sometimes the trunk did not open at all.
Not really the nice feeling you want to have when you rent a car for an already decent amount.
We put this to the employees, but we felt otherwise that nothing would be done with it. No further compensation has been made for the experience with such a rental car.
Too bad, because we liked it. What is a good service, however, was the pick-up and delivery service.
