What a place, get there early for the sunset, the staff are excellent , the food and setting also. It has grown in size since our last visit so we were a little apprehensive. We need not have worried the place and the bar are excellent ,

Tides, is the best seafood restaurant on the island. The Loch Fyne Oysters are amazing and a staple offering at Tides. Elegant setting with a defined menu makes this highly upscale restaurant quite special. Book a month early... Back soon …

This is a really beautiful restaurant, directly overlooking the sea, We enjoyed our last night in Barbados here and drank some great cocktails, ate wonderfully prepared food and generally had a lovely, special evening.

Maybe it's not my thing, but basically it is an upscale restaurant with some nice pictures ... I wouldn't go to the restaurant just for the gallery ... that said, we did enjoy a evening at the tides, but you definitely pay a premium.

When in Barbados- you have to og to refurbished Tides where Wayne & his crew will give you the ultimate dining experience- get a table by the rail With Yu lover- and you have the ukltimate experience

Newly down out, this is a beautiful setting right on the water. Lovely art and bar and very good service. Cannot fault the food.

After visiting champers we had high hopes for tides. We were very disappointed. Service was fine, a little overbearing at times however the quality of flavour in the food was not what we were expecting. The lobster ravioli had a bitter after taste and the pesto crusted lamb chops was flavourless. We decided to share a dessert which was the best part of the meal. The free dessert with sparkler was a nice touch (anniversary gift) however the description of the dessert was much better than the way it tasted. The views were amazing however they can be seen for free outside the restaurant on the beach. My advice, save your money and go elsewhere!

We visited the tides on the recommendation of the Hotel (Cobblers Cove) and it was tremendous. It was certainly upscale (not over the top) and a wonderful atmosphere with impeccable service. What was delightful was that everyone was dressed for fine dining and that is what it was! The interior is striking and the selection wonderful. The bar is also lovely and decorated in the style and ambience of the restaurant. This is a food experience not to be missed!

Tides has a fabulous menu; good silver service and is perfect if you are looking for this kind of meal. I had the short rib of beef; it was so tender - it literally melted in my mouth. The food is excellent quality and very well presented. Highly recommended.
