For the truly brave, you can dive off the cliff into the ocean at this beach. There are also some great vendors selling beautiful handmade jewelry here.

Seaweed is still a bit of a problem on this side but it clears up at varying times during the day for you to get in a swim.

We love this beach, we go every year! Bit breezier being on the Atlantic side! The beach bar is great for snacking and beverages!

The Crane Beach is absolutely gorgeous. Crystal clear turquoise and blue water abound. Although very beautiful, the water is extremely rigid. Swim but be careful of the aggressive waves.

Beautiful beach, perfect for sunbathing. Water is a little rough, but fun for older kids. A lot of seaweed when we visited but hotel made real effort to clear

Nice Atlantic coast beach, with crashing waves and white sand. There's a place to jump off the rocks. Nothing to buy on the beach, so bring what you need.

Crane Beach has been rated one of the best in the Caribbean--although technically it is the Atlantic. The wide beach area is great for land sports. But the rough Atlantic can make it difficult for a relaxing swim or float. Unfortunately, Sargassum seaweed (coming from Europe) continues to affect the beach, despite The Crane's staff's daily efforts to remove it... More

I loved this beach, far rougher than the tame beaches on the west and south west coast, big waves and dramatic scenery/. It is accessible by car then you have to walk over some rocks on stepping stones which I loved. You can apparently go through the hotel and buy. Lift pass for the day which makes access easier but... Having read and seen many photos and reviews on this beach, supposedly in the top 10 of the world (ha ha). We were all extremely disappointed by the amount of seaweed and lack of PINK SAND. Google 2016 crane beach seaweed to see for yourself!

We were staying at the Crane Hotel and were blown away by the stunning views of this beach with its soft pink sands. The sea is amazingly blue but quite rough so ideal for body boarding.
