Worth finding.

Another lovely beach, you have to go down a side road to find it, but it's worth it and the usual toilets and showers are available there, but no refreshments.

Batts rock is getting a make over. The very sharp turn to get to this gem if coming from the south is easily missed. Once at the water, you will find quiet and mostly local beach goers. Facing the water, a walk up the beach to the right gets you to undercuts in the corral rocks. Once at the next... More

A nice little beach with lots of shade right on the water. Great place for a picnic or for hunting for coral rocks. Great sand like other beaches on Barbados... But keep in mind the rocks make it more difficult to swim in.

Quiet and beautiful. Great for walking and swimming. Barbados beach at it's best with hardly a soul in sight. Take a hat!!!

Loved this shaded beach, its great to swim in the bay and if you walk south towards the cruise ship terminal it is less rocky and was the location of the Four Season resort that stopped its development so you can imagine the location, the pilot boats are guiding the random single tankers to anchor between the delicate reefs below.... Beautiful secluded beach. The water here is slightly higher,at times, than other beaches but it's truly a joy when its crystal clear and calm. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of nature. Its generally not busy unless a catamaran comes and anchor, then tourists come on shore but that adds to the ambience of the place.

Stretch of beach large enough to find a family spot even on a busy day. Great for the kids or adults who just want to laze! Good public amenities, wash rooms etc.

Beautiful narrow beach backed by trees that provide ideal shade. Swimming safe, few waves. Good car parking. The downside is the back cloth of the derelict houses - what is happening to solve this obvious issue?

Fun day @ a quiet beach, but avoid the fruit trees with small apples. Make sure children don't get their hands on them. This was one of the few beaches w/ a rest room.
