We booked two trips - Jeep Safari and Catamaran Swimming with Turtles. Both trips were fabulous and good value the Safari shows you the whole Island and we were lucky that we did swim with the turtles as some days you do not see any. Would recommend both trips.

Hi Jill, Thanks for taking the time to post a review! It really is such a special experience to swim with the turtles in Barbados, so we are happy that they weren't too shy that day! Regards, Management

We booked a daily boat trip through Book Island Tours Barbados.
Their representatives were in out Hotel and we received good advice and enjoyed the trip very much.
They offer both full day and half day tours, both on land and by boat.

On landing in Barbados we were met by and later arranged a tour of the island through Debra. She was amazing in all respects - she was unfailingly helpful, took time on her day off to answer questions and could not have been more pleasant to deal with. She arranged for a knowledgeable driver to show us around Barbados on our Go As You Please Tour and Kirk our guide was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and patient with all our picture taking. Both are great assets to the Book Island Tours team and we would without hesitation recommend them again.

We scheduled a "Go as you please tour," a private tour for my wife and me seeing the sites that we wanted to see. We booked a driver for 4 hours. We talked to a booking agent about what we wanted to see before hand. We then gave the driver a list of what we wanted to do and see, but he seemed to have his own agenda. He keep saying what we wanted to do would take too long. We saw some of our sites, but we returned early to Bridgetown, and gave us a driving tour o the town. Which we really were not interested in. The driver did seem knowledgeable of he island.

We took several of the tours and we very pleased with each. The drivers were just great, Durston( D) was a real jewel, very knowledgeable and good humor. Robert was one of the best drivers one could ever hope to encounter.

Tiami Cruise pickup/drop off was efficient and courteous. The catamarans were well maintained and not over crowded. The staff were chill and drinks overflowed generously. Food was abundant & delicious. Tiami fot in sufficient time for Turtle snorkeling, shipwreck snorkeling and beach swim. They made sure everyone hot a chance to see the turtles & stingrays. It was a highlight to see flying fish & turtles on this trip. We really enjoyed this cruise. Thx!

What a great way to see Barbados outside the beaten paths! I did the Great Adventure tour which runs from Oistins through the coast line. We saw turtles and a feast of kite surfers on the south coast, a variety of local residences, and moors with an amazing variety of vegetation and wildlife, including monkeys and mangusts. We entertained with a local fisherman and I had a chance to look closely at the beautiful coral formations that are the backbone of the island. Roger was an exceptional guide, very attentive and happy to share his knowledge of the island's secrets. An amazing experience! Thank you Roger and Gregory for a wonderful day.

We wanted to see a bit more of the island so booked this off road trip. The tour itself was great and our guide brilliant . He added humour to a very informative commentary that helped us to understand more of the cultural and economics of the Island . Great way to see the Island and a lot of fun.

The rum tasting at Mount Gay was great a really good tour guide with lots of humour, even if you are not a rum drinker you would enjoy this.

Booked a half day power boat excursion on Mali (our amazingly brilliant and super friendly Thomas Cook Rep’s)recommendation and we were NOT disappointed! We were expecting a small boat just for the two of us but turned out to be 10, which was no problem as Steve broke the ice and got us all laughing and chatting! We powered our way down/up the coast, stopping at points of interest which Steve either gave us the information on or made up some fantastic story he thought we might like!! We then donned snorkelling gear - all provided - and were taken on an expedition by Scott who was VERY professional and responsible yet brilliant fun! We snorkelled over a coral reef to a sunken catamaran where Scott produced a bag of bread to feed the fish - if only we’d had underwater cameras, it was amazing! Back on board we went back up/down the coast more slowly to take in the beautiful beaches etc, had drinks and on to swim with turtles and inspect two shipwrecks. We stopped at a beautiful beach for a snack before heading back to Bridgetown. The time flew but we will definitely book again on our return, thanks to Mali, Steve and Scott!
