Hi, I think the taxis are waiting in the port when the cruise ship docs, make sure you are firm with them & ask them to take you to the boatyard as I have heard stories of taxi drivers trying to persuade people to go to other beaches which they say are better (which isn't true as the Boatyard on Carlisle bay is amazing), and these beaches are further away & the taxi driver makes more money! Its only a short distance from the port so shouldn't cost much in a taxi there. Also ask at the boatyard as I think they give you a free taxi back to the ship? hope you have a great day :)
