Miss this at your peril. On paper it sounds calculated. The Boatyard sounds too good to be true but there honestly isn't a catch. Utterly divine beach and wonderful chilled day out. For the $50 Bajan dollars entrance fee you get $40 back at the bar, use of all the frankly wonderful facilities vip beds turtle snorkelling in the fabulous... More

What a great place this is! Crystal clear warm waters, white sand and a warm gentle breeze. Make me relaxed just writing about it. And the chilled music and great staff make it a day you don't forget! Cocktails good too...! Go if you are in Barbados. You won't be disappointed.

Came for the day after being highly recommended by friends. Beautiful white sand beach, crystal clear water, friendly helpful staff and ice cold buckets of beer! What more could you want?

We spent a day at the boatyard and overall had a great day. The water is BEAUTIFUL and the people were friendly. When we got there, they had no open beach chairs, but the large group of vendors walking along the beach were very helpful with trying to win us over by finding open chairs and bringing them to us... Came here with other cruise ship passengers after a short ride from the port. The cost to get in was $20pp which included chairs, umbrella, comp drink, wifi, and snorkeling with turtles. I'm so happy we came here. The water was beautiful and the sand was soft and white. The food was good and the service was great. Everyone was friendly!... More

This was our last island and one of my favorites..the beach had wonderful white sand and clear water. All the other islands that said they had white beaches did not have them and the water was not so clear so this was a charm. I would return. The tour of Barbados not so much. Very hectic and crowded with all... More

Brilliant place to spend the day - for one price that seems initially hefty, you get food and drinks, access to play equipment in the sea which the kids loved and a boat trip to swim with the turtles, also really comfortable family beach chairs/loungers/parasols and free, good wifi. What's not to love!! We went twice during out 10 day... More

The boatyard is a nice relaxing spot where you can hang out it had beach chairs for your comfort, there is an admission fee to get onto the property but you get in back either in food from the kitchen or at the bar or you can do both, the water of the beach is crystal clear and there are... More

A good day out on a fantastic beach, with a free turtle snorkelling trip, well worth the admission fee of B$50 pp which includes a B$40 bar credit which can be used against meals and drinks. Recommended.
