We did the sunset afternoon cruise . This excursion included, lots of beautiful appetizers, drinks, amazing snorkelling and a very accommodating terrific crew! Thank you James, Ben and our amazing chef, who's name escapes me, for making our experience perfect!
We were fortunate enough to see many turles and beautifully colored fish.
I have done this cruise with Calabaza 5 tines now. This exceptional afternoon just keeps me coming back, and sharing it with so many others!

This is the fifth time we’ve done the sunset cruise and it is always the highlight of our vacation in Barbados. The crew is exceptional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Food and drink are plentiful and tasty. We always have the best time. I can’t say enough good things.

The Calabaza team is always in high spirits, allowing for pleasant conversations and the opportunity to learn some background information about Barbados as the crew are all locals.
The snacks, as well as the lunch, are extremely delicious and always freshly prepared. Good selection of cold drinks along with beer and rum punch are always provided. During the excursion, you have the opportunity to swim or snorkel, and you can explore many colorful fish, turtles, and even two shipwrecks. Along the coast, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Barbados’ white Caribbean beaches .Great value for money

Can’t rave enough about this amazing cruise. The crew were just so spectacular! Michael, Peter and Sam ! The food was delicious and plentiful, appetizer style. The drinks flowed freely and were delicious. The snorkeling spots were really great and we saw some amazing fish and turtles. Everything was smooth and extremely well done. Thank you for an a first rate outing :)))

Fourth time cruising with Calabaza and the whole day from start to finish was excellent. Crew wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. Kept you well fed and watered throughout. We actually got to see / swim with Mantra Rays this time which was a fantastic experience.
What we love about this company is that they keep the number low so there’s plenty of room for everyone. Excellent customer service from time of booking to leaving the cat at Bridgetown.

This trip was recommended to me so I booked this trip in advance & it didn’t disappoint!
This trip was fully booked on the day but they only allow 12 people on board the catamaran (the other excursions offering the same we seen during our excursion & they had 30+ on those catamaran’s & all looked squashed) we had plenty of space throughout the whole excursion.
During the excursion we visited a ship wreck to snorkel around & we got to see so many pretty fish & turtles wow it was amazing.
The staff were so patient I watched them help a guy who couldn’t even swim who was having panic attacks and they helped him to overcome his fears so that he didn’t miss out, they encouraged everyone and made you feel safe!
During our sail to our destinations it rained but we sat in the rain all laughing while the captain played the funniest playlist to us all with the most infectious sense of humour!
During the time on board we were served unlimited drinks (soon as your drink was getting low they would be there taking your next drink order) and VERY tasty food from warm banana bread, hummus & crackers along with a buffet lunch which was all cooked fresh and was served hot & tasted amazing (I had chicken, rice, coleslaw & salad)
They waited on you non stop, we honestly felt like royalty for the day they just couldn’t do enough for us.
We ate our lunch at the idyllic location it was stunning & we could get out & enjoy a swim, snorkel of use the inflatable bar!
Thank you to all the staff for such an incredible day, we made the best memories and you were all apart of this! I will be back Xmas 2025!

If you are looking for a catamaran trip to swim with turtles, then look no further.
This is the best. A smaller boat means far less passengers. The on board team are great , nothing was too much trouble, always attentive to the passengers needs.
Food and drink is of an all high quality and available throughout the trip.
What really impressed was that one of the team, in our case it was James, entered the water with everyone guiding us to the best spots to see the underwater sealife.
A memorable day and a highly professional crew, worth every penny (dollar) Thank you so much

Excellent captain and crew for clients wanting help in water and fish/turtle feeding to attract them

Fantastic professional attentive captain and crew. Good food, unlimited drinks constantly offered. The snorkeling stops are great for beginners, guided by crew member who gets in water and helps guests and feeds fish and turtles to attract them. Fish mob him/us. Like being in a fish tank. When at shipwreck where I was in 2019 on another boat, he immediately led/herded the group away to follow him. I know he wanted to provide a good experience and likely did for many. I love to snorkel in a more relaxed fashion at my own pace, maybe staying in an area to see whatever is there. Previously my snorkeling time was more independent and peaceful. This felt more like a Disney exercise than a quiet nature experience. The sailing and hospitality were excellent so I definitely recommend for people who want a well chaperoned active swimming experience with a truly hardworking crew.

Just back from a fabulous day with Calabazar off the Bridgetown coast. From the very beginning everything was well organised, clearly explained and great fun, under the care of Chad, James and Romell. Plentiful soft and/or alcoholic drinks, delicious food and snacks, spacious catamaran, snorkelling amongst fish and green turtles - accompanied by James from the crew - travelled under motor, then sail, safety and floatation equipment readily available. Age range on our trip 4-60, none of us knew each other, all friends by the end, we were made to feel so welcome. It was a treat of a trip. Thanks Guys!

We went on the afternoon cruise. Small with 12 or less guests. Chad the skipper and his crew were great hosts. Funny and welcoming they helped provide a great experience.
Food was all stored and prepared correctly so no worries on being struck down by illness which has happened on another cruise in the past. Drinks were kept topped up throughout once the snorkelling had finished.
We saw plenty of fish, rays and turtles over the wrecks of the bay, after which you watch the sunset over the West Coast at the end under sail.
Book the best and go with Calabaza.

We are getting married next Feb 2022 hopefully if world allows us to, we will have 7 adults but also a young child of 2 and a half.. Do you accept infants on your trips?

No not really, you may be able to sit in the cabin where they prepare the food, but there is not much room. However they do have a covered area if you wish to have shelter from the sun. Hope this helps.

Yes, lots of seating and shade at the back of the boat. If the sails are up, there would be additional shade from the sail. If you were really feeling the heat, there is comfortable seating inside too.

We sailed up from Bridgetown up the west coast to roughly about Speightstown . It was a really lovely day and the crew were very good.
