This tour was amazing. I honestly can't say more, and the "guides" were so friendly and willing to help everyone. The turtles swim right up to you! It was even better than I expected. Make sure to have a waterproof camera.

Local transport Bridgeport to Harrison's Cave & Nature Res (1 Replies)
Hi everyone, I would like to be able to use local transportation from the cruise terminal to see Harrison's Cave and then the green monkeys at the Barbados Nature Reserve. I think I can take a Blue Bus from at about $1 USD - need some help here: 1) Is walking from Bridgetown Port to the Princess Alice Minibus Terminal a viable idea? 2) Can I buy round trip passes at the station or is this done boarding the bus? 3) What is the display on the bus? Is it Harrison's Cave, Sturges, or...More

Thought we had a private tour booked with Glory Tours but just found out their drivers are not available. Want to see Harrisons Cave, Bathsheba, drive along east coast, maybe St. Nicholas Abbey. Does anyone have the name of a good taxi driver I could contact?

Airport transfer questions (1 Replies)
My wife and I are staying at Accra Beach Resort in November. We are traveling with 2 other couples. This will be our 4th time on the island and first for the others. In the past, for all of our sunshine holidays in the Caribbean, we have booked a complete vacation package from the airlines which has always included transfers to and from the hotel. This time, we ended up getting a better deal by booking a flight and hotel through Expedia but it was afterwards that we realized we would need to...More

There is no shortage of vans available at the airport. You will not wait any long ear for a van than for a standard taxi. It is only the rates *from* the airport that are regulated. Your hotel can arrange a van to take you back to the airport. It is likely to be more expensive than the ride to the hotel but not significantly so.
