We enjoyed a visit to the Botanical Gardens. It is a beautiful area covering 36 acres. It is very colorful and we were amazed at how beautiful it looked.

Once upon a time this garden was magical. They had diverse themes and fantastic plants. When funding fell, the place fell into ruins. There are a few interesting places to be found and the view of the Atlantic is majestic but it will take years,...More

If you have limited time on the Island, it is not recommended that you spend it here. This is obviously underfunded and seems as though it has been virtually abandoned by its caretakers. There is very little useful signage and several areas appear to have...More

There is a nice (Masterworks) art museum on the grounds (paid entry) and a nice cafe by the Museum, and there is certainly room on the grounds for a pleasant stroll, etc, but this establishment hardly deserves to be called a Botanical Garden. There are...More

According to the locals, the previous politicians didn't care about the botanical garden and, therefore, didn't provide an operational budget. It's a shame because with that beautiful climate and all the acreage it could be amazing. The day we went, which wa during tourist season,...More

One of our favorite Bermuda spots. It's very peaceful walking around through their extensive grounds. We especially love the the succulent and cactus house, the formal garden and the oriental style garden. Also check out the Masterworks Museum when you are there.

Blown away by Bermuda's Botanical Gardens. But sadly not in a good way. Living here in the 1980s, I remember this place as slightly magical and a great destination for tourists and locals alike. Now, it's difficult to recommend, based on the quality of similar...More

Had a wonderful walk though the Botanical Gardens. We almost missed the Exotic House and are so glad we did not. One of the workers there pointed out a plant that had just bloomed for the first time in 25 years! Taking a self-gudied tour...More

We always enjoy the gardens. The cactus area is our favorite. The Banyon and Kapok trees are astounding as we have NONE of these growing here in Michigan! Make sure you visit the museum as well.
