Three hotels line this beach, making it popular with tourists; you might want to avoid this place if you're not into the Spring Break college kid party scene, which tends to crowd the beach during the Easter season.
There is a public access to the impressive beach but much of the beach is taken up by the private facilities of a large resort hotel. Whilst the signs clearly indicate it is private, visitors are allowed to use that part of the beach and...More
This is a nice sandy beach with public access down a narrow road between 2 resorts. We ate at one of the hotel restaurants and used their washrooms. The sand at the end of Elbow Resort has totally eroded away so the beach is much...More
I would never recommend this place. Staff was the WORST I have ever encountered. Was planning on horseshoe bay beach for the day & cab driver told us to go here instead. When I questioned driver about chair availability/ food he said no problem -...More
We have been very fortunate to visit both Elbow beach club and Coral beach club as guests, the beaches are pristine and the water blue beyond belief. We have also used the public beach between the two beach clubs which requires you to bring your...More
Close by the beach we were centered at; short walk. It was recommended by friends who spend a fair amount of time in Bermuda, so we went after the cruise ship traffic and tourists had departed in the later afternoon. This is a scenic and...More
Very disappointed in the fact that we couldn’t stay here too long. No umbrella, lounge chair rentals. Remote area no sheltered huts, or nowhere to seek refuge from high heat , & sun.
Water rough and warnings of under current made us concerned about safety....More
Elbow Beach is definitely one of the most beautiful pink sand beaches on Bermuda. Unlike some of the other beaches, this one is not still; it has mild Atlantic Ocean waves that are fun for older kids, who like to boogie board. Also, the reefs...More

No. There is nothing here. You have to sit on your own towel if you thought to bring one. Very remote. Not even enough bush cover to change alongside the beautiful landscape. Too bad they haven’t thought of it yet.
Just saw on the Elbow Beach wesirte that the nightclub is closed til further notice. Any idea why and when it will reopen? (I am going in November)

Can you rent chairs and umbrellas at elbow beach? (8 Replies)
I'm staying in a B&B within walking distance of Elbow Beach and have been reading the reviews on the listing for it here on TA. Some visitors say they rented umbrellas/chairs while others complained about how there were none available. Which is the case? Can you rent from a nearby resort or something? If so, are they pricey? Considering schlepping my own umbrella if that's the case. Any info much appreciated. Thanks.

Taxi Fares 9/2016 (12 Replies)
Hello, I read on the Paget Forum taxi from BDA to Elbow Beach is approx $40. 1- What would the average fare be from Elbow Beach to Hamilton, lets say for example, Flanagan's Pub? 2- Also, is it proper to ask before departing what the fare will cost? 3- Payment in U.S. dollars OK? 4- We've been to islands where the taxi driver will give you his/her cell phone # to call if you need a ride. This is especially true if you tip well. This customary in Bermuda? THANKS

>>>...I read on the Paget Forum taxi from BDA to Elbow Beach is approx $40...<<< YUP...that's approx. correct..$40 >>>...2- Also, is it proper to ask before departing what the fare will cost? ...<<< You can certainly ask...but the answer is gonna' be pretty much the same. ALL Bermuda taxis are metered. There are no '..gypsy cabs..' in Bermuda nor do they '..negotiate..' fares.....nor will Bermuda taxi drivers take you on the '..scenic route..' (unless...More
