Our son was getting married in Bermuda, and we wanted to do something different from the typical rehearsal dinner. A Welcome Party Cruise was suggested by the Bermudian wedding planner. After some research we found Ubervida. What a find it was!
From extensive, helpful emails over almost a year to the end of the actual cruise, Ubervida (and Ubervida staff member, Crina, in particular) were outstanding!
The boat comfortably held 100 people, plus a DJ. The entire experience was run like a well-oiled machine. Everything was clean and organized - from the bar service to managing the catering. The ride was smooth and the views were gorgeous. We anchored off shore for swimming, and a staff member swam around the guests with a surfboard of libations. The cruise was 4 hours, departure to return, which was perfect.
Throughout the rest of the weekend, everyone was complimenting the cruise, saying how fun it was as well as a terrific way to get to know other guests. All said it was an afternoon they would never forget.
Out hats are off to Ubervida and Crina for giving all of us such a memorable experience.

What an amazing evening on board this beautiful, pristine vessel. The crew could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Jenni and Roxie are amazing hosts. The boat is spotless and lovingly maintained. We enjoyed an early evening sunset cruise around Hamilton harbor and the islands. Fun, lively, safe and exquisite....I highly recommend a tip on the Uber Vida.

My wife and I just celebrated our wedding on UberVida and I absolutely cannot recommend this company enough. Everything was fantastic, the boat, the staff, the catering provided, it exceeded any expectations that we had for our big day. It was plenty spacious for our 40+ group of friends and family to have our wedding ceremony, dinner, and reception (dance party!) all onboard. The views were fantastic, Crina, Roxi, and the entire Ubervida staff made sure our day was beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you again for everything and can't wait to come back again in the future to celebrate our anniversary with UberVida again!!!

Horrible cruise! Boat went so slowly I could have swam faster! Way overcrowded, no place for everyone to sit. In fact, most people had to stand. Drinks were diluted and music was too loud. No one had fun, not the younger people nor the older people!

Wow!!!! My three children (ages 11, 13 & 14), my wife (never snorkeled before) and I (lots of previous snorkeling ) were blown away with Uber Vida's 5 hour snorkeling excursion. Captain Danny, the boat's owner, and his entire crew were fantastic, constantly making sure all of their passengers are having a good time. The trip is about an hour 15 minutes one way to the northern or eastern cut in the reef five miles from the coast, but it doesn't feel that long due to the attention given to all of the passengers by the crew. The entire crew pampers you, whether it's getting a drink, some food, answering questions, or having a conversation - they are there to please!
And the snorkeling - by far and away the best on the island as the outer reefs are a protected area with no fishing and great nutrients - we saw dozens of different kinds of reef fish, coral and even some predator game fish, like snapper. Crystal clear water 10-20 feet deep above the reef. You get almost two hours in the water at the reef. And for those not completely comfortable, water noodles are available for use and the staff is always nearby.
After snorkeling, a full buffet with fish, chicken, vegetarian courses, along with all kinds of fruits, breads, salads is served as part of the day- plenty of good food, along with an open bar for the duration of the trip back to port, all included in the price of the trip.
(On our trip, a pretty fierce squall developed on the way back, which rocked the boat around pretty hard, but the crew made everyone feel safe and comfortable, and continued to serve drinks, keep the music on through the great speaker system on the boat, and Danny did a great job piloting the boat to get us all back safe and sound)
Finally, when the boat gets back into the harbor, it stops at a small island where anyone who wants to can get into the water and jump off a 30 foot high cliff as an extra treat.
Don't be put off by the slightly higher price than the other boats - it includes two hours of snorkeling at the outer reef, where the other boats stop to snorkel off the local beaches at the much smaller pancake reefs right next to the island - with far less fish, coral and time to snorkel. And the glassboats simply go to an area where the fish are used to being fed, drop some chum in the water so the fish will come up near the bottom of the glassboat - completely contrived and unnatural. Also remember with Uber Vida a meal with open bar is included in the price, so when you compare and consider that the snorkeling itself is vastly superior, and the trip includes a meal and drinks, the higher price really is comparable.
Finally, the soundtrack Danny plays on the way back is THE BEST compilation of 70s, 80s and early 90s music I've ever heard!
Families, couples and people of all ages will LOVE this excursion, although I would not recommend it for young children or poor swimmers as you are out over a reef 5 miles off the coast.
GREAT SNORKELING, GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY, GREAT SERVICE AND FANTASTIC A TIME! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

I was a little skeptical of the UberVida Friday night mini-cruise because I generally don't like the typical "booze cruise". But I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. It was a great way to get out on the water, among the tiny islands of Great Sound. We went on the later 8 p.m. cruise in early July and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset. The music was not at all overwhelming for those of us in the 50+ age group, but there was still a lot of energy and good people watching for the younger folks in our group. The drinks were a little expensive, but given that your bar tab is really the only cost of admission, it was reasonable. I would recommend getting the $10 advanced purchase ticket during the busy summer months.

Whilst visiting Bermuda on holiday we found out that they had a FREE boat trip around Hamilton harbour. There were a lot of people who took up this offer of a trip that took one and a half hours. and it was no con. The only stipulation was that they only wanted people to buy cocktail drinks to make the cost of the trip profitable. So of we went and right enough there was no pressure on buying drinks but a full bar was there to service any customers. We all had at least one drink and we were out for two hours. With a DJ also on board it was a great party experience without the 'madness' of similar outings. It was a great way to see Hamilton with the various small islands and big houses that we wouldn't normally see giving the cruise an interesting perspective on Hamilton. This is great value for money and well run.

I actually did the reef tour twice. Once as a business event and once with a bunch of friends and both times I had a great experience. The business event I didn't venture into the water so stayed on deck with Roxy and provided "sighting" for all the swimmers in the water along with Roxy. The second time I actually ventured in the water. The reef is beautiful and it was peaceful out there with nature.
Roxy, Danny and crew are very attentative making sure your needs are supplied with either alcoholic or non-alcholic beverages, pasteries and lunch which was a hearty lunch consisting of sandwich wraps, greek salad, regular salad, chicken kebabs, sweet pumpkin (grilled) and fish and dinner rolls. A very nice variety of items to suit all.
All in all it was a good day. On the way back to dock they take you through Paradise Lakes in hopes of seeing some turtles and they stop and allow those interested to do some cliff jumping which is very popular and a tradition in Bermuda.
I live here and will probably do this trip again next summer.

Do you have any snorkel tours that allow you to get in and out of the boat without using a ladder? My sister has really bad arthritis and is unable to use a ladder.

The Whole Day Dreaming snorkel tour sounds like exactly what I am looking for, however, I don't know how to get in touch with Ubervida. I have called them and gotten an answering machine, I used the form on their website with no response and I have emailed them with no response. Can anyone tell me how they got in touch with them? I will be in Bermuda in 2 weeks and am trying to make plans ahead of time. Thanks to all for your help!

Good day, unfortunately the email address you provided did not work. We no longer offer the "Whole Day Dreaming" event, we can recommend Reef Explorer Bermuda for a good snorkelling tour.
Thank you and enjoy your stay in Bermuda !
