We did the Sunset cruise on Tuesday 6/15/2021 and it was an amazing experience. The crew was so kind and a blast. Caption Squid was very informative about the island and whose house is whose. The free rum swizzle was so good then all drinks after were only $5 which is the cheapest drinks you’ll get on the whole island! One of the best parts was Ms Wesley the wonderful French bulldog on board. He was so sweet and gave lots of kisses. I would 100% book with this crew again and again.

Every time we charter with the Rising Son team our experience is excellent from start to finish. Last weekend we spent the day celebrating our friend’s 30th and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Michelle was so helpful, quick to respond and went out of her way to ensure that everything was set up prior to the charter. Captain Steve, Adrian and Miles were super attentive ensuring all guests were having a great time, from our sailing experience down to drinks and DJ. 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you for providing the perfect day!

had an incredible experience on the snorkeling excursion with Max, Sam, and Jermayne. Max was a standout as he combined humor with his knowledge of the island, keeping us entertained with funny jokes while also sharing fascinating historical insights. He expertly managed the boat, guided us through the tour, and even mixed up some great drinks for us. Sam and Jermayne were equally impressive, ensuring our safety throughout the trip and making sure we had everything we needed. Their teamwork and dedication made the excursion both fun and memorable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore and enjoy snorkeling with a fantastic crew!

Our White Night Sunset Sail organized by our Viking Orion cruise ship was definitely a highlight. The Rising Son was a mere 5 minute walk from our ship docked in Dockyard. The majority of the passengers were totally dressed in white which made the evening more special. Captain Steve (catamaran owner) and first hands Tony and Mike were the ultimate hosts, with interesting and humorous stories of The islands, fun music and plenty of Rum Swizzles during the sail. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend. We would definitely do this again on a return trip. Thanks Steve, Tony and Mike!

Steve took us out yesterday & we had a great time. From kayaking & snorkeling to the entertainment on the boat, he made the time spent on the boat so much fun. Steve also went above & beyond to make a tee time for us at a local golf course. We had a great time on the boat & couldn’t recommend this excursion more.

We did an evening catamaran sunset cruise that the team was nice enough to take us out on - as they were short a few people. There was plenty of swizzle to go around and it was a great way to take in the island. Great tunes and company! A good time was had by all.

All of the crew were wonderful, but the best addition was first mate Mr. Wesley. Lovely afternoon of swimming and snorkeling. Water was a bit cool this time of year but there were kayaks and paddleboards for those who didn't want to get fully in the water. My husband loved the rum swizzle and Micah was kind enough to make me a non-alcoholic version. We've been coming to Bermuda for years and we'd definitely rebook.

Was absolute blast! 10/10 would recommend! Short trip to snorkeling site which is a great spot to see lots of fish and coral. Drinks are amazing and Captain and Crew are laid back and fun.

I love the To using Sin cruises. The spot we stop at amazing and the water was not that bad. I feel like the staff was not all their. But it's ok because Mr Wesley carried the staff. He just sat their and I loved it. And when all the staff didn't pay attention to the customer Mr Wesley way their. We was a life guard that's always on duty. 10/10 would go again just for Me Wesley.

Max, Sam, and Tommy are the best crew for this truly unique excursion. Knowledgeable, entertaining, safety conscious, and conspicuously funny - these are mates who know how to entertain you and yours in Bermuda. Oh...and the sites were excellent!

How far is the reef area from where you anchor when you are in deep bay? Also how long is the ride from the dock to the bay for snorkel, etc?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. We offer an inshore reef snorkel so we always anchor close to a small beach/cove (usually Deep bay but that depends on the wind) you can get to the beach/waste deep water easily. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from the time you bored (which is right next to your cruise ship).

Hi. We’ve crushed to Bermuda a few tones and have done the rising son excursions (both the daytime and sunset trips) through the ship a few times.
We really loved it but are now looking for something a little different...different locations, different “feel” if that makes sense?
Does rising son offer any daytime trips, without going through the ship, that maybe is a little more adventurous, not the “normal” structured tour and/or not as “touristy”?

Hi Annette, Thanks for reaching out. Yes both of our catamarans have access via ladders/steps. Our red catamaran (Filante) has steps between the nets on the front of the boat and our other cat Rising Son and two short ladders on the back of the boat. If on a Royal Carribean Cruise Anthem of the Seas docking in Kings Wharf, how would you get to this cruise? Do we need to shuttle or bus or cab to meet somewhere? And what times would those things be necessary to make the 9am cruise? Thank you

Hi Billy, our snorkel cruise is an in shore snorkel with a small reef in shallow family safe water. If you are looking for off shore reefs then triangle maybe more for you. However, with the in shore trips you will see fish and coral just not to the extent of offshore reefs in the deep water.
Our boat is literally the closest tour boat to where the Anthem docks. We greet you as you get off and then walk straight into our catamaran. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if the snorkeling has many interesting things to see. There is another snorkeling option via Royal Carribean Anthem of the Seas... and it talks about reefs and coral and fish...but it's from a boat, not a catamaran. Perhaps the catamaran is more the casual hang out and have fun cruise while the Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck excursion is more for the snorkeler? Thank you

There is plenty of snorkeling to do and fish to see. This catamaran trip has it all. Great professional but fun crew, kayaks, snorkeling, clean gorgeous boat, beautiful cove, cliff jumping, history, humor, free swizzles on the way back. I just had my 3rd excursion with this crew and it will not be my last. Do it! Steve and crew will take care of you.
